Mechs themselves, as those hundred some ton omgWTHpwn 10 story tall siege weapons of death? Not feasible.
Walkers? POSSIBLLY feasible in a heavy urban setting where tanks wouldn't be very effecient at all, but heavy weaponry is still required. (Then again, a good laser-guided smartbomb through a chimney > all)
Exo-Suits of some sort I DO forsee a strong possibility and even a good idea. If you have ever played Planetside, something along the lines of the New Conglomerate Scatter-Max would be a devastating piece of equipment for a trained soldier in an indoor setting. (Basicaly a heavily armored exo-suit with a single large tri-barreled rapid-fire shotgun on the right arm.)
Mechs are like Communism, sure it's a cool idea in theory but when you finally get that mech up and running you realize just how screwed you are because the peasants are revolting and the arrogant capitalists have all the better mechs.
Then your family disappears and you’re carted off to the gulag for trying to sell such a foolish idea to the politburo.

yea what resa said, the best i can see in the feasible future are small remote controlled or semi controlled AI controled robots.
The US army is a already testing small ones on wheels and tank treads to clear out buildings in Iraq. They are armed with shotguns, light machine guns, and scoped rifles that are remote controled.
