the 'gah' is that some jerk has decided to mass defame me using all his chars and friends because I laughed at his e-wang (he came in calling me a weakling because I was lower level but when I gave him some backchat he started popping in as lots of chars to shred my fame).
if any of you guys have a job in the game and are feeling malicious feel free to drop 'mkay' s fame for me... make sure you send him my love. In the meantime I'm going to find out to report him for stalking and mass defaming me, jerk that he is -.-
pan lid is a drop really. Only place you can buy it is off other players ^^;
as for earings they're either drops or gained from the 'alex' quest. You'll find alex in kerning city; if you're level 25 or above you can talk to him to get a lil mission and once completed you get a random set of lvl 25 earings =3

Hey maybe there should be a composite post for all the different quests, who owns them and what they want etc.
I'm sitting there levelling as usual when this icemage comes in. He laughs at someone dying calling them 'noob' and I merely say 'hardly' because the way the guy popped his clogs could happen to anyone.
Anyways... I go back to levelling and he says 'what are weaklings doing levelling here?'. I snap back with 'I dunno... why ARE you here?'. it goes on like that for a while with me kicking his rear verbally as he tries to go on about how great he is. He even tries to KS everything to prove how much better he is and says how he loves that I can't do anything. I just laugh and say he's stopped nothing because I've easily outran him and killed plenty while he waddled away trying to catch up. I said "if you had managed to do anything that stopped me you'd be defamed by now'.
I leave shortly after because I'm out of potions...
Anyways I'm in perion loading up when a character walks in and defames me! This char was totally unequipped. Notta. Nothing. Not a single item on them. I coin what's going on and laugh only in time for another char to enter and defame me. Irritated I go outside and who should 'appear' only seconds later but mr 'mkay'. Note that he appears just outside the tent which is what you'd have done if you'd logged out there funnily enough. Not giving him further chance I channel hop before warping to kerning and tell him that it's pathetic to do what he's doing. At first he acts innocent but that quickly fades to a very dull tone of threat. Conversation stops for a bit while he chases me and gets someone else he knows to defame me and then I defame him. Rave helps out by jumping in and defaming mkay as well only for another person to come defame me. By now I'm furious so I log in as Jemma and give mkay another taste of defame... meanwhile rave takes 2 defames for helping.
Skip forward and more people have defamed mkay. He's running scared but currently trying to pick on JHunz. To those who've helped so far I can only thank you and hopefully it won't be long before we silence this total jerk and his bunch of goons =/
We've managed to gather a few incriminating screenies but the more the merrier and I don't think mkay's fame looks happy being that high so if you feel like entering this lil feud feel free to do so. The only people who've been defamed so far are me, rave and hunzy, the others are fine lucky and I'm going to fame hunzy and rave till they're back up just because I appreciate them being there for me along with the others ^^

I found on the Mapleglobal site, a way to bypass the "End Program" dialogue for Win XP users (especially those who use WindowsBlinds or IE)
For WinXP/ME users (can ME even do this?) Right-click on shortcut, set it to run in Win98 Compatibility mode.
