maybe instead of just saying it's a skulk why not say "this is what you get when you breed jack russel tarier and a whole Sh** load of ugly, otherwise known as the skulk....."
That video is really really awesome, i love it!
(Even my little stasis room got included )
Now, this is what I wanted back on day 1 when it was released. Would have kept a lot of people playing NS instead of leaving saying "I CANT BIE GOONZ DIS SUX!!1"
i do have one thing ive thought this whole time why not make mabey 2 or 3 smaller maps teaching certian things ina more specific way you could make more detailed instructions and things to do beacuse of entitiy limit unless you are ignoreing that due to singel player
on the other hand it has a big halo feal to me the way the voice is teaching you could be pro or con depending on wether you like halo or not

They cover all the details but lack the excitement to get the player interested in the game itself, the original half-life training map certainly didnt do anything for me (*plz dont flame me *) and it was only till i played the first level where everything goes to crap which made me realise the excellence of half-life, and hopefully this map has a similar feel to it
Didn't get to hear any of the voice acting because I'm in a net café atm, but I liked the mapping and especially liked the 'build this structure here' sprites. That was a nice touch for the nubbinses.

Wow...this will really help those poor nubs (in a good way)
Just an idea for the holographic enemy projector thingy, it would look good if you could make them spin around...just some c&c
no theres no specific alien training but i hav left space for the addition of one in the future and spinning holograms arent possible unless i get custom model animations made which isnt really worth the filesize as all aliens and chambers wuld need doing
anyone seeing the movie would automatically see the potential you got there. to safe us from the 2nd stage of noobiness ("I played the tut, I 0wn yah all!!!ffs!!!!111") you COULD also create a short advanced course. veterean ns players know, when they just dont need to refill at the armory base under attack) or how much ammo they will need in a normale match (I usually take 2 more lmg mags and fill up the pistol completely ). that ANYONE has to go throug ativated phasegates when the other side is under attack, that you have to let the strong aliens pass by when you are alone so you can pick up the weeker ones, the order of targets when aliens rush the base, you dont have to shot the hive when your squad is allready building a factory to siege it.
we'll whine as much as it's necessary to get you those entities
Edit: oh, btw, the guy making the voices is very good, because I could understand perfectly everything he said, and english is not my native language... go figure.

The guy making the voices sounded kinda whiny, but perfectly understandable. It's cool, because EVERY OTHER GAME has guys who sound like they are actors or singers, not regular people.
The tutorial aspects of it look really good. One thing, though, after he places the sieges, it shows a phase gate icon, but I didn't hear him say to drop the phase gate. Then he hopped out. That may be confusing for a new player, as they don't know whether or not they should drop a phase gate.
Otherwise, I can't wait for it to be released. Maybe it will be out just in time for NS:Source, so it will be useless!

I like the idea of Hollow projections and also the droping of equipements on targeted Icons.
Keep up the good work and you are going to be very popular amongst our new players.
and a custom title. *nudge nudge*
Are you gonna do an alien tutorial map?
I dont think you'd need to animate the model at all.
