Had that happened to me. Things just seem to slow down for a split second when it happens, you know?
Man Caboose, that is creepy. Hope you feel better soon, though you may not have any relation to the victim, the fact that you were so close to attending is bound to have some kind of effect on you however small. So take care mate, and thank your lucky stars you didn't attend.

Wow. Shows how growing up in different areas can foster different outlooks. Around here (AB, Canada), that is mainly unheard of.

The kid fires a shot in the air to show how seriously he wants in this party, and this causes one of the students (22 y old) to tackle him. he takes a bullet to the abdomen, but gets the gun away and fires into the shoulder of the kid who owns the gun. one of the neighborhood kids takes the gun back and fires twice in the direction of the doorway as they all four run away.
A student took one bullet in the leg and another in the <i><b>face</b></i>. He's still in the hospital today.

this happened a block and a half from my house, and we all very often have these types of parties. What are we supposed to feel? what are we supposed to think? The guy is 22, a graduate student in business, meaning he has spend five years at this school studying to be a professional businessman, and he is now in the hospital with a hole in his head because some punks wanted in their party.
Am i allowed to be racist now? I feel justified being afraid/suspicious of any 16-20 year old hispanic or african americans that i meet in public. It's horrible.
I think Mikhail Kalashnikov would have to argue that point with you, although I don't know if his new vodka brand is actually any good.

Girl from my high school that I used to work with died of alcohol poisoning just a few weeks ago at Colorado State. I think there were 2-3 others at other schools about the same time. I can't even fathom the amount of alcohol it would take to kill. I mean, I don't drink, but I can at least understand why people would want to get a little buzz here and there. But am I the only one who likes my bodily functions and would prefer keeping them running?
Don't blame the ethnicity, blame the pathetic parents these children must have had. I would shoot myself of shame before I shoot another human being. Somehow human life is nothing to them, and why? Parents of vilest sort. And perhaps, society in general.
I'm for thinking some idiot probably has already had the thought. But till it gets voiced? The jury's out on that one.

Hating all mexicans won't make you feel safer at your friend's next party either. But it will cause problems. Believe me, I nearly fell into that bottomless pit with the absolutely base things my neighbors have done to my house and family. Did I say "Wow I hate Mexicans now!" almost, then I came to my senses and realized that I knew a TON of wonderful people of hispanic descent. And it would be wrong of me to shame them by comparing them to trash.

And then there was that Albertsons employee that went nuts with a katana and killed a bunch of his co-workers or something... that was actually one of the two local Albertsons here that I go to (thankfully not my regular one).

I remember that. Also, someone brought a gun to school one day and everyone was kept in one class for 2 hours.
The good ol north hollywood as I remember it. We moved from there after some mexican gang guys pulled a hit on our house. 6 shots strait threw the front door.
My aunt's boyfriend beat the **** out of them because they were smacking her aroun.
