The relatively simple geometry messed with physics and caused this crate in the munitions storage area to tilt slowly. When I jumped on it I slid into the mines.
I'd love to see Condition-Zero ported over, but none of the graphics upped. I think it would be neat to have all the physics from the physics engine, that way slower computers that cant handle the graphics but the physics can be rewarded!
well after playing cz for a bit i guess it had good "physics" guys slanting on stairs, and laying out of windows, and fall off edges... still all scripted though :/
yeah i was really dissapointed by the hl:s port... i have no clue why they wouldnt at least use the high def models from blue shift...
Can't you take the models from Blue Shift and manually place them in HL:S? I really don't know <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Anyway, the complete reworking of HL being developed independantly should be much better, and much more free. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> You're paying how much for HL: S?
Well, $10 extra for the entire Valve back catelog, which you already own some of, DoD: S, and Half Life: S.
If you count that entire Valve back catelog as $5 of that, that means you are only paying $2.50 for Half Life: S. Basically, free, not to mention official.
Now, you can complain and cry about how they didn't waste their time completely redoing Half Life from the ground up, instead working on creating the new "Greatest Game of All Time," which we all know as Half Life 2. Or, you can be pleased that they bothered even giving you a slightly polished look on a very old game.
Great to hear someone's doing it from the bottom up though. Might be interesting to play, if it really does come out.

If HL:S is a waste of time, then a full remake is a far greater waste of time.
Imagine a talented mod team get together and actually finish it, and it looks and plays amazing (realistically, i expect they will spend a couple of years on it before the project folds). Now imagine that instead of remaking an epic game we have already played, they could of spent those 1000s of man hours creating something smaller, less ambitious but truely unique.

Actually, he's part of the geometry.
I look forward to the team who are making HL:S from scratch
Now that's cool.
I deleted it after playing through the first level. Nothing special.
