    ...I wanted to throw F U at the strider <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> . They were so much easier to kill than they should have been. They should have forced you to nail the tiny leg joint with a rocket...that would have been better.


    Plus the docks...I was flying around in my airboat, pretty sure I saw a Порт 17 sign somewhere (actually the T looks more like an m in actual cyrillic handwriting, but whatever), so I thought, "Hey, docks gotta be around here somewhere." The best you get is...well, some old wooden piers...bah.

    I didn't find it bad really. I was in a container, using it as side cover and shooting a soldier at the other end and another soldier (probably tipped off by the first) went all the way around and cut off my escape to the rear. That wasn't the closest point for him, it was the farther. Not bad, the flanked me.

    And the friendlies would commonly hang back if there was a lot of fire between me and them. Alyx was just that kind of woman to head straight into danger, probably because, just like barney, she's invincible.

    Barney set off a hoper and right after it exploded yelled at me to hurry up... that was an odd moment.

    Yea, the trainyard before the buggy is the only place I really noticed the AI. It was the only place that was really open, but with lots of cover. I suppose they covered eachother well enough on the vehicle parts, but the AI isn't exceptionally noticable, because by the time you see the guys they die a bit later.

    ...That or they come dropping in in front of you and don't require AI besides turn and shoot Gordon.


    No really bad glitches though, but then again, as I've stated numerous times: my fps suck and I didn't really play around because I get...mad...fairly quickly at the stuttering audio bug.

    One thing I noticed that I never really saw in other games was the use of small portals to shoot through. They would hide behind a car and shoot through the windows, very difficult to get a proper shot at them like that. I'd be willing, once the rest of the SDK came out, to make a few test maps to see how they responded in given situations.

    She was pretty much invincible in my game. I guess you just suck at protecting people.

    Where the **** do you go out at the loading crane (right after shooting down the gunboat)? Seriously, I built a little tower just to try and climb over the fence - no dice, wouldn't let me jump over it (I actually made it up by stacking 2 containers, a trashcan and 2 barrels in instable ways).

    Also, freaking Ant Lion spawning is just way over the freaking top, considering how harsh that **** is on my fps.

    Your supposed to pick up the car and drop it on the other side.

    If you mean to get to the other side in the firstplace, you just use the crane to shove something into the bridge and knock it down.

    I was disappointed with the ending, and I wish the Combine's plans for earth had been elaborated upon a little more.

    *Some SPOILERS possibly*

    Grab a barrel and smack it up and down on a headcrab, it wont make any damage but you can release some anger on it.

    When you encounter the first forcefield with you're car, there is a walkway on the right pretty wide. Just push the car on the side with the G-gun and then push forward <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> . Are they not aware of all the gravity exploits?

    I have noticed that the text on the gas station petrol containers is Swedish (kronor, volym) but it really aint a dissapointment.

    You cant kill your allies, that sucks.

    When I killed the chopper it saves immidetly after it falls from the sky, right into me over and over and over again, always loading when there is no escape to avoid it.

    The Alien slaves speak some very silly english.

    Some fun scenes from the hl2 trailers have been removed.
