The gman also talks to him, so what happened to him? I have a feeling that he will come up somewhere in the game, as Valve has said that HL2 is a continuation of the plot of HL, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force, not just Half Life.

I think they are going to leave Mr. Shepard's story for an expansion pack. Lord knows that the b flick ending left so much untold. Not to mention that the right man at the wrong place can make all the difference, especially when you'd have two of them to make chaos. Since city 17 was in Europe, and there is the implication that there are MANY MORE citties, then there are bound to be more places where the G-Man needs results. And when you want the best results, you send in the MARINES GODDAMIT! He was captured by the Gman, put in the Combine Project , enhanced by crazy scientists and then cloned many many times.

Barney gets locked outside door, Freeman passes in car thing, looks at, get in, get armour/pistol, go to where you're patrolling, accident happens, save scientist, screwy teleporter thing warps you around, you see Freeman getting drageed out by 2 soldiers then you get in an SUV and drive off. Took about 2 hours.

if i remember correctly(which i dont) then you go to xen, fight a bossman (maybe, i dont remember what the boss was, but i am sure there had to be one) and then you teleport back to black mesa, but you teleport to the road entrance, where some scientists are and then you all scurry off into the sunset. mainly just remember the part about being a security guard and going to xen.

i remember both endings pretty much... may contain spoilers if you really care...

blue shift: youre getting teleported about, you do see freeman getting dragged off but thats just the part where in hl1 you go into the room and get your **** kicked, then they drag you off.. then you stop teleporting by some guys and you drive off

opfor: you kill the big alien deal then you go onto a helicoptor flying through space with the gman on it... he says something along the lines of "well i sure do have a fancy for people who go through such amazing things, my colleagues have decided sparing you would be bad, so im afraid youre going to have to die..." not that.. just something like that... then it does the "subject: corporal shepard status: missing in action" again, not that but something like it

in conclusion i dont think were gonna be seeing shepard again... i do hope they make a second opfor where you can be a combine infantry... thatd be neato...

At the end of OpFor, they put Shephard "into storage", in the giant hellicopter dealie. He's also been kept outside of time, much like Gordon. So I think we'll be seeing him again. Probably in an expansionpack.

No, he's talking about that tram you were on in the start of HL1.
If you watch carefully, some minutes into the game in HL1, while in the tram, you'll see a barney knocking of a door with his flashlight, and that's who you play in BlueShift. ( Also who's that Gina HLDM had ? you could see her in one of the cameras in BlueShift, but she was never in HL1 SP )

Youv got to remember the playstation version of HL has yet another storyline where you play as Gina.

Although that sorta explains how the troops got there, dont remember if they excaped or not tho.

i played the ps2 one too with my friend... if i remember correctly gina and whats her face do escape... hmm.. and then if you get all a's or at least b's i think, you get to play as a couple alien slaves and you have to go retrieve the yellow rocks that are oh so precious
