Instead of having to model the entire kraken, a good idea would be to just have a model of a giant-**** eye randomly "swim" up to the window, blink once, and then flash away upwards in a sea of bubbles. Much more freaky, imo. On other windows, you could have the occasional tentacles flash by, maybe half-eaten fish float upwards on occasion, atmospheric stuff like that. Things that, when you see them, will be, "HOLY CRAP IT'S HUGE OMG F5F5!!" moments....something you're not liable to get if you just make a giant octopus model that swims freely around outside.

On shot 4, change the texture where the floor slopes, it looks odd with that grate texture.

Other then that, great work!

since the kraken is supposed to be like the size of the map, why not have it so the kraken is latched onto the facility, attacken it. have a few huge tenticles visible hugging agaisnt the side outside some of the windows

your flooded section could be where the krakens breached through the wall you could have parts of it coming into the facility itself. like the underside of its head where the tenticles intersect where its teeth or beak or whatever would be on a giant sized octupus is sticking into it a bit

Or maybe hint at the fact there is a kraken outside the facilty. Have a computer console that displays its detected a large organism outside in the ocean or warning signs that the facility is or was under attack by this large creature.
Would explain the flooded areas an add a slight suspense and fear to the level knowing theres something far worse than the Kharaa down there with you.
Rather hint at the creature being there than have the ability to actually see it.

Other than that excellent work hope to see it finished soon.
