Actualy on fileplanet they have released several singles from the SH2 soundtrack, just not everything at the same time.
Ah, yes, the Homeworld music. Great stuff. I'm not sure about the first one, but I got the Homeworld 2 music out of its compressed data using a program which I have forgotten the name of which was specifically made for the purpose of editing Homeworld 2 files.

The <a href='http://www.mirsoft.info/gmb/music_info.php?id_ele=MjgyNA==' target='_blank'>midi version</a> of the Warcraft 2 soundtrack is very good, actually. I think it's a step up, actually. Of course, I never had the full version so I didn't hear the soundtrack as much...
While we're at it, does anyone else find that Windows Media Player always plays midis really, really loud? Any alternatives? Winamp doesn't seem to know what to do with midis...

Yes, I'm pretty sure there was. Infact, I think it was the mission you return to the planet after the hyperdrive test, if that helps/narrows it down anymore.

I don't believe the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack's been released. And we're only posting legal tracks/soundtracks that have been released by the developers of the games.

Actualy on fileplanet they have released several singles from the SH2 soundtrack, just not everything at the same time.
