Hey, now thats a fun idea. Give the fade a whirlwind type attack where it spins around and damaged everything around it. The fade can take reduced damage during this attack. depending on if you want the player to lose view control for a moment whille it spins around, it can be very disorienting for the fade. I mention this because in Age of Mythology that looks remarkably similar to a fade and this is its special attack. As for my opinion about Blink, I think it should be moved from the attack slot and make it an innate ability, like Lerk flight. Have blink use the jump key. This simply change alone will make Fade more open to casual players, like myself, and open a weapon slot for my suggestion.
