It is very well possbile to win public games with sens. Its easier to kill an armored enemy than someone that you can not see.
ffs just let me have my lvl1 cloak and do what you want k? This is all I want. I get my cloak you get whatever. The chamber thing forces a playstyle over the whole team. decentralize it. When I get attacked I actually want to be able to do something about it before I die. Even against fades with a LMG you can often inflict enough damage to slow it down for a while.
Dying to things you can do nothing about is not fun at all. Playing vs cloaked skulks is like walking down a mile long corridor, with randomly dispersed traps you cant detect in any other way than walking into them, and the player that survives untill the end (totally random) wins the game.
sensory is good of the team can cap the second hive quickly(witch is hard w/o perma gorg imo) but if the marined upgrade you'll need fades so if they have the two hives locked your pwned. so its better to get d first.

I don't see how people could have so many complaints about the one chamber that has the most evident counters in the game. What do you do about Defense upgrades? Weapon upgrades and Catalysts, not to mention concentrating fire on one target, are just about it. Movement? Even fewer options; pancaking Celerity Lerks are no picnic.
Against a team that knows what they're doing, sensory sucks. A couple obs will allow you to see all the cloakers and take out all the sensory chambers. Your fades and lerks and onoses will be weak. You won't be able to break a hive lockdown until you get your second hive. You won't be able to break a two hive lockdown.
Don't be so selfish, kittycat. Just like you don't like playing with defense chambers, some people don't like playing with sensory chambers. Go play combat and cloak all you want.

To be honest, after hearing the guy hasn't played for a year or so.. I'm surprised that no-one has suggested combat to him...
Combat is a more DM type of game where you can pick your own upgrades independant of all others. So if you want Cloaking, Once you have earned a "level" (achieved by kills or by being near others who are killed) then you can select cloaking. Now you can play this stealthy style to your hearts content without for one second interfering with another players game style..

You tell us that you get SC because YOU want it. You know full well that your team probably doesn't want it. Then you ask us why we call you selfish? NS is a team game. Not an individual one. sensory isn't "shrude" just ask next time before you drop chambers seeing if you make a mistake with sensory first your fades won't be able to do much to stop an advance if it does happen.
no way, I hate combat. Its just dm. No tension. After 10 minutes its grenade hellfire.

The chamber system just give the illusion of catering different playstyles and tactics when it does not actually give any choice at all. Most players want def 1st and its forced on the whole team. That has nothing to do with teamplay. Its like effectively limiting playstyles to the most common selection.
Well, maybe something will be done to "fix" it. However in the mean time I wouldn't annoy players by putting down sc's :<. It isn't fair to the "majority".
