Wow Charlie... after reading about UWE.... all i kept thinking of was George Lucas...
For those who dont know.... George did much more than star wars.....
I just finished watching a documentary where i realized how much he changed moviemaking for waht it is today..... The man was a genius
He directed, produced, and did many other things for his first movie... he revolutionized special effects, created his own company to do so, and fought to keep the rights to his second and third movie....... He got those, and he was the first director ever to get merchandising rights (something that back then was never done and merchandising was non existant) Anyways... his company became LucasArts, a faction of ILM became Pixar, everything he developed is still used today, he has made millions, merchandising is a huge thing now......
George always talked about being enslaved by the studios, and the money he made off the first star wars allowed him to independently fund every one since then (the only director/writer/screenplay to do this for large blockbuster hits, cept mel gibson.... This allows him to do Exactly what HE wants, not what the studio wants....
Anyways... i see Flayra/Charlie complaining about the same thing in his interview, starting his own company, and wanting to be able to make his own games without interferance...
I see another George Lucas on the way, only NS>Starwars (even thouhg i love starwars)

Computer Games - Even though Half-Life 2 has been released, work still continues on the original Natural Selection mod. What can you tell us about the content additions that will be put into the upcoming 3.0 version?
Charlie Cleveland - Probably the biggest content addition is the addition of third-person reload animations. Because this is a final release (not beta), we've spent a lot of time on many smaller tweaks for consistency and polish (sprite and sound changes, updated models, etc.).
