Although much of the stuff George Lucas started, like ILM and THX and Skywalker Sound, was either used on Star Wars or directly spun off from it. Not, like, completely unrelated like stuff Flayra would make. And before Star Wars, George lost thousands and thousands of dollars at American Zoetrope. And THX-1138 was a box office bust and too weird for most people. And he almost killed himself working on Star Wars and ended up with diabetes from getting no sleep and living off chocolate bars and soda.

So I think the parrallels end at "they work with aliens."

same...except when I had the donation made, I found I have no time. So I have only gotten to play on pre-build 2? Either way, the donation is well spent imo <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I think the information in the interview is trivial. However, I feel that the fact a major games magazine did an interview is of extreme significance in getting PR. This is probably one of the smartest moves by the dev team in terms of getting NS noticed.

FINALLY! A dev team who sees the sense in this.. I know it will cause problems in its own right (quite harsh for people on 56k/64k downloading large installs more regularly) but the benefits are brilliant - one of the biggest causes of 'splits' in communitise like NS are when a big new version is released, with lots of changes...

some of the people love it, some of the people don't mind, but an equal number of people hate it (generally ... not always obviously) - by doing small releases with fewer changes per release, if the game starts to drift 'off course' with how the majority of people enjoy it being, then it gives the devs a far more viable option of undoing the changes and going back (obviously only if they want to..) <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
People who play NS shouldnt have 56k anyway. Its just not for them. ` <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
I think that statement seems biased.

It was a pretty good interview, although we did know most of it already.
