Just checked IMDb and I was right, it is Stephen Fry. Stephen Fry is awesome.

Question. What the hell is the song at the end? It sounds like the intro of Men in Black. Bad movie, rockin' song. Is it just a coincidence, or are they the same?

And it looks great. I need to stop forgetting to pick it up when I go to the library.

You guys playing the game... open a new tab(or window depending on browser) with the hints page. It should a bit below the game screen.
Sometimes it's best just to wait... Getting up before ford talks to Prosser is fatal.

Probably the same. If you'll notice, quite a few movie trailers use music from other movies.

I still read his books (haven't read the latest one...Postal something...). I just think that he doesn't have his zing, his pizazz, his mojo, his touch, his tooty-fruity. Lords and Ladies or Men-At-Armswere his peak IMHO.

Oh, c'mon. Yeah, I'll agree that his 'middle era' books had more funny in them, but tell me you weren't impressed by Dangerous Beans' speech in front of Spider, and I'll call you a liar.
I don't mind a little less humor in favor of a few more serious passages, really. Plus, the preview chapter to Going Postal had me rolling on the floor, so don't give his wits up just yet

Been a long time since I read the book, but would that be three exclamation marks?

Bad timing, that. Thief of Time was definetly a low blow (a little like Witches Abroad, if you ask me). I'd definetly suggest you take a look at a few more recent novels.

hey I liked Thief of Time I also liked fifth elephant

edit: I've read many of his novels, but I think that was the most recent.

I believe the next one to come out was night watch, but I haven't picked that one up yet.

Men at Arms is pretty funny, IMHO. Really funny books, most of them. Some I didn't like, really, but there's plenty more. I'm wanting to read Going Postal, I hear it's incredible. I recently got done with Sourcery. Pretty good.

EDIT: I jump around, if you didn't notice.

I second that opinion. He's such a suave cat.

Nem: he just seemed lose the knack of storytelling later on. I can't remember Maurice that well, but Hat Full of Sky (and the other one with that girl in) just didn't know how to end. These latest ones haven't been his worst, I'll give you that; that one where the witches face some vampires was bad IMO (bad for Pratchett, okay for most other authors). Jingo was naff, too.

I think I should point out, that while you don't hear him in any trailer so far, Bill Bailey provides the voice of the whale. Which is possibly the finest piece of work performed by any casting department ever.

as in the whale that tries to come up with a big sounding word that's coming towards him? Something lik... grr. gro ... ground. yeah ground. And wonder's if it'll be his friend?

After shortly coming into existance while several miles above the ground. Yes the very same Whale.
