<div class="IPBDescription">Just saw Office Space for the first time</div> Yea, such a great movie. What are some other semi-classic movies that I should see if I already have not?

If you missed office space, there's no telling what extremely good movies you've missed. Next you're gonna be telling us you havn't seen The Big Lebowski, or Clerks!

Um... 2001: A Space oddessy, Citizen Kane, The Godfather Trilogy, Equilibrium, 28 days later, American Beauty, House of 1000 corpses, The Thing (1980's version), Ong Bak, and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle being the best ones I've watched recently (and liked :O).
If you go see Monty Python and the Holy Grail, don't come back quoting like some crazed internet freak like everyone else does.
28 Days Later? Dawn of the Dead (the new one) is a hell of a lot better as a zombie movie. More like what would really happen (I think).
John Carpenter's version of The Thing was probably the only movie that ever actually scared me, my definition of being scared by a movie being freightened of it even while you're not watching.

I realize a number of these have already been said (and that you've seen Boondock Saints) but this is how lists work so shut up and read. Movies in bold must be seen to avoid INSTANTANEOUS COMBUSTION because of their pure awesomeness.
Boondock Saints <b>Shaun of the Dead</b> JAWS Apollo 13 Shrek/2 Pirates of the Caribbean The Producers (yeah it's a play but it's also a movie) Sleeper <b>Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Movie</b> The Hunt for Red October All them Monty Python Movies (Grail, Life of Bryan (Brian?) etc.) Airplane <b>Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb</b> Schindler's List <b>The Bridge on the River Kwai</b> The Memphis Belle (Or something like that. It's about a B-17)
<!--QuoteBegin-Testament+Mar 8 2005, 07:09 PM--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Testament @ Mar 8 2005, 07:09 PM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> It's just a shame the entire last half sucked, huh? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> What was wrong with the last half? It had some of the best parts the film :S (Franks death and the killing of the soldiers set to that awesome music).
So yeah, TommyVercetti... your formula for a good zombie movie = 2 glocks and a chainsaw. WIN.

[edit]To be fair, I haven't been a fan of the humour style used by the writers of that movie. After seeing two films of theirs, I decided not to watch any more.
I do find I'm agreeing with many entries in above posts. There's a number of lesser known ones I'm reading here which I would have never heard much about, or seen, if not for previous Word of Mouth advertisement. (Shaun of the Dead, Mall Rats, Clerks, and Ong Bak come to mind.) 28 Days Later is a film that I decided to see purely based on repeated references to it I was reading on one or more fansites for the Fallout series -- they tend to pounce on anything remotely post-apocalyptic.
