A great deal (said dead before my edit ) of these movies, I've never heard of, but all the zomby ones (aside from 28 days later) I have already seen, several times.
Actually, If you havn't seen it, download Night of the Living Dead (the original). It's in the public domain, and you can get it from archive.org, for free!

For all those people who mentioned Shaun of the Dead...
Ive heard that it is very funny indeed. But Ive also heard that its a lot more funny if your British due to the Uk style of humor and some of the brit jokes that you might not get if you arnt from the UK.
How true is that?
Is it still really as funny even if u arnt british?

3 films in the same london genre, though if your american you probarbly wont understand some of it.

Speaking of which, anything by Stanley Kubrick is worth watching. 1. A clockwork Orange 2. Space Odyssey 2001
Also, I'd recommend Francis Ford Coppola. Try these, in particular: Apocalypse Now (DON'T GET THE REDUX) Godfather 1-3
If you're into animation, you'll love anything Miyazaki has to offer. My favs: 1. Princess Mononoke 2. Laputa, Castle in the Sky 3. Spirited Away
Finally, Spielberg. Big on melodrama, I personally hate his guts a little because that's about all he's good at. E.T. + Schindler's list are top priorities...
Jurassic Park, well, your call.
A few more animated flicks: Ghost in the Shell Ghost in the Shell 2 Steamboy
A few more: The Shawshank Redemption (beautiful, just beautiful) Casablanca (melodrama might turn you off, but some say it's a classic) Kill Bill (overated, violent, 'stylish', tarantino)
And uh, Hitchcock, except I can't list any off the top of my head right now.

hardboiled shows how shotguns should be done in games ^~
Most suggestions are cool (waii for princess bride!!! :D ) but there's some I think people missed...
- Labyrinth (dance! magic dance! maaagic dance! ~dances~) - Yojimbo (seven samurai got mentioned but not this? o.O ) - Willow - Robocop (just incase :p) - Predator (1&2... someone might've mentioned it but I don't remember seeing it :o ) - Flight of Dragons (beautiful animation done in the old fairytale book style; great characters, great story and something that everyone should watch once) - Zaitochi (yet another black and white japanese film... great stuff and the remake isn't bad either :3 ). - Total Recall - True lies - Terminator - Commando (best badguy and lines ever!!! "remember when I told you I'd kill you last sally? I liiiied") - Howl's Moving Castle (recent anime from studio ghibli and very very good) - Porco Rosso (another anime and darn good :3) - Cyber City Oedo (classic anime... get the dub because it's hilarous XD ) - TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE

As I said, Leon the Professional.

SWAT 4's demo actually shows off proper shotguns and why more games need slugs and tighter spreads. <3 properly handled shotguns.
