    Just an over-hyped-steaming-pile of intriguing-yet poor-for-Tarantino bloodily violent horse faeces. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    Agreed.

    I watched most of both movies, couldn't stand to watch all of either. Just absolutely terrible movies, not just in comparison to what I was expecting based on the public response, but in itself.

    I don't know what you people see in it, but hey, if you can derive satisfaction from those piles of steaming crap, go for it. I'm not going to tell you not to watch it. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    It's been said before and I'll say it again: you're looking at the movie the wrong way. It's a steaming pile of crap as an action movie.....but it's comedy gold, and the camera/light work is brilliant. Do you really think Tarantino's idea of a hardcore action movie is having 88 guys lose random limbs, each time blood literally spraying out of their stumps as if from a hose? Somehow I think that wasn't the point of the movie.

    As an action movie it is a steaming pile of crap. As a comedy movie.. it is a steaming pile of crap. I've seen more comedy in people abusing children and animals. I don't care what the director wanted to convey, it sucked.

    I disliked both, they are just boring.

    I'm not looking at the movie the wrong way. I fully expected humour based on every other even Tarantino related film I have ever seen, and yes, I got it. It just doesn't stand out as much as his previous work in my opinion.

    Both are good films, just nothing as spectacular as I assumed they would be - I saw them both together only a month or so ago, so having lived through god only knows how long of hype, I excepted a lot more from both.

    I wouldn't say its a steaming pile of crap as an action movie at all, it had some rather good scenes - in particular I thought the silhouette fight was rather well done (think that was in the first...). I understand that it isn't supposed to be a hardcore action movie, you'd be stupid to expect that - fact is, it wasn't that good in my opinion.

    Don't get me wrong, 'tino does impressive work, but it seems to have become a cliché to think he is the most awesome director ever to have walked this earth.
