anyone else about to crack?
For the majority of college students here in the states, its nearing that time again of cramming before final exams. How do YOU handle the stress? I myself am about to run down the quad screaming my head off... naked! (ok, tmi!)
Plus there is the whole "moving back home" between semesters and finding something (allbeit a job or more school) to keep you occupied durring the summer months.

...not that it interupts my studying...but then I need to go to bed sooner.
stressin
Now, if only you could major in that...
Let's just say Im not staying in Comp Sci (despite me passing). What a terribly boring degree.
As for stress... I d'no. The way I see it, you do all you can and if you pass then there's nothing to worry about and if you fail then worrying wouldn't have helped you. Easier said than done, of course.

I'd be set for life!

I could have written that exact post, except for the fact that I'm majoring in Electrical Engineering.
I'm in the lab 9-12 hours a day and I really must complete one by tomorrow to get everything done the way I want it.
My first exam is this Friday...bleh.
I just want next week to be over with fast. Three tests should be bearable.
On top of which im playing lots and lots at a concert this weekend.
2 weeks, and it'll be complete freedom.
I have that in 24 days. They don't give out the answers, so I have no way of revising from that test.
Pity me.

And you find it annoying?

There's no ...naughty stuff...just lots of MTV generation talking - which gets annoying fairly quickly. Plus I feel obligated to be quieter doing my stuff (usually playing video games ), so I find it's a bit ridiculous. Especially how he goes to bed around 12:00...come on now, I just can't sleep that early.
Pffft, finals; the only one I'm moderately concerned about would be Environmental History of America...since it's an essay exam...and the teacher apparently doesn't like my essays (he wrote "This is an excellent essay!" at the end of the midterm and it was a C+/B-) [but I get 100% on all the quizzes and stuff]. Maybe Medieval Studies...but that's a bit easier (3 take home essays for the final ). There's also another history class...where we know nothing of the final...as she hasn't told us yet (despite it's 60% of the grade).
then real finals on Theory of Differential Equations (proving equations exist in n-dimensions), and Topology (proving n-dimensions are traversable), oh and intermediate java (booooorinnnngggg)

Yeh WTH is up with all stupid past exam papers with no answers to check up on.
I mean sure lectures give us the reason is so that students will actually make an effort to go through the past papers. And if a student really wanted to check his/her answer, the student can contact the lecturer to help him/her check it.
Another reason though is that some past question papers are recycled. So giving the answers to the past papers will be the same as giving out the answer to the future exam
So for those who do not have perfect time management (which Im sure majority of us are), we end up in the deep end with struggling with answering past papers as practice but to only worry if the answer was really the right one.
Although there are question papers where there is no really one def answer.
20 May - Advanced Higher Maths - a grilling 3 hours in a cold hall hammering through 100 marks worth of various mathimatical problems.
30 May - Morning - Higher Modern Studies - 2 papers of solid writing based on politics and various social factors affecting people in the UK, Scotland and USA.
30 May - Afternoon - Advanced Higher Computing - Not too bad here, my project got 85/100 meaning iv already got 85 out of a possible 200 marks, so to pass i only need to get 15 in the written paper, judging by previous tests i expect 60-70 more marks so yay.
03 June - Higher Business Management - Easiest subject ever if you can think thigns through or have common sense.
03 June - night - drunken party to celebrate the end of school forever.
I have that in 24 days. They don't give out the answers, so I have no way of revising from that test.

It's passworded, you nub!
[edit]And if that's part of the test, I fail [/edit]
*insert taunt here*
However, I'm hesitant to let my employer know this as she might decide to "adjust my schedule."
If you're that stressed before an exam, perhaps you aren't smart enough to be sitting them.
Stress helps me tackle this. It keeps me sharp. It keeps me focused.
Anyone who doesn't stress over stuff like this has got no imagination.
