Xbox 360 Pictar
"My name is DOOManiac and I am a slashdot-repost-olic"
Taken from slashdot which is really a repost of an engadget article. Sneaky phone-cam-fu picture of Xbox 3660.
Discuss!
(BTW, to shorten the time it takes to humiliate DOOM, I suggest that future slashdot repost topics be called DOOM'd. For example, "this topic has been DOOM'd!")

Whats so yuck about it? Looks better then any currant gen consoles.
Interesting.
No more black and white buttons? They weren't that useless, think of the games they're useful for now ):
And moving the select and start buttons out of thumb reach and on top in the middle. Ridiculous.
Why the chuff does it matter what the consoles look like?
would you rather have something that looks nice in your room or something that clashes horribly so people notice it and sorta go 'ick' when they walk in?
Besides, it's not as if the PS2 or Xbox were attractive
The purple gc looks ok with the rest of my room as well luckily.
as for the PC it's on a pine desk so the colours work out ok. Back in uni I used to hide the box under the dark coloured desk I had; consoles are lots harder to slip away like that :3

The black and white buttons have been converted into secondary triggers. Makes them much easier to reach; I always got frustrated trying to get to them during important combat situations. As for select and start, I don't see how they're any less in range now than they were before.
The cords were only in the prototype versions, by the way, I imagine before the wireless support and design were finalized - though I'd be giddy if they have a charging cord. Rechargeable controllers would rock.
Also: why do people (typically Americans) say 'I could care less'? 'Couldn't care less' makes about one million times more sense, and doesn't frustrate English gents such as myself.
or
OMG THAT IS THE FUGGLYIEST PIECE OF SHIIZZNAT EVAR!!!1111
I think its just ok. Ill give it a 5/10. and I dont like that color lol.
Indeed.
"I could care less" = "It bothers me"
"I couldn't care less" = "It does not bother me at all"

I totally agree. What's with all the white pearly iPod-style stuff? It seems that a year ago, every single people had normal black earphones, and now every single brand fights to clone the iPod colors. What's really annoying is when people have iPod earphones without the iPod. It seems people buy the iPod because it's cool. Nowadays, the iPod has NOTHING backing it up except the fact everyone has one, therefore everyone who doesn't is no-one. The iPod was great at its creation, why don't they work their Apple magic again?
For example:

I've always wondered the same thing.
I always thought i was missing something though

"Could care less" = I could care less, or I could care more....or I could not care at all.
"Couldn't care less" = There's no possible way I could care any less.
[And both are used equally as much where I'm from...and that's not too often.]
What's with the vertical crap, though? I just don't get why anyone would actually want their console that way - all entertainment furniture is designed for horizontal appliances. And while everyone may have complained that the 'Xbox was huge!!!!1' it fit perfectly fine in entertainment systems.
Along with the fact that it has cordless controllers (God, everyone's going to copy them with mandatory cordless controllers and it was an idiotic idea in the first place). Bah, why can't people just stick with a "This goes in a place where you'd put your VCR, this cord plugs into the console, and this ethernet cable - if you want - goes into the back."
Kinda bleh.
Although you can see what there going for. Parents going into stores, knowing that there looking for either a PS3 or Xbox2, but not knowing **** about either one really. So there sub-concious whispers: "Ohhh, shiny whiteness=futuristic=better!"
AGREED. "Could care less" makes absolutely no sense. Why are you saying that you COULD care less? Precision is important in language. Roar.
Apple is going to sue Microsoft I heard, it appears somewhere along the line Apple copyrighted the white color scheme.
