uh... suredeath? Bomberman DS was bad. It deserved a bad review :/
They almost did it right (I'm talking singleplayer; not had a chance to multi it yet which is pretty much the point of bomberman admittedly :p). But Hudson haven't made a single-player bomberman game decently since bomberman 1. The rest have all been horribly flawed in some way or form as they try to complicate a system that already works perfectly well, usually stripping away things that made it so magic.
They took out coop after number 1 for crying out loud o.O
As for the DS one specifically; it would've been good but the bosses aren't very good and the inventory system thing they added not only feels like 'omg we need to use the bottom touch screen for something, lets make something totally useless up' but it hinders the gaming experience if you ask me.
Bomberman is about artfully blowing stuff up, not managing your equipment :p
I trust Gamespot's reviews for everything but console FPSes. Metroid Prime was really good, but they rated it .7 points too high. And they're apparentley hardcore Halo fanboys. But for RPGs, action games, etc. I trust them.
