to be honest all the games i have that I haven't completed funnily enough are epic RPGs... y'know... the kind that are great then if you have to leave for some reason you come back to realise you barely remember the controls and yet you're fighting massively powerful badguys because you ran off towards the end of the game :p
As a result, I really can't be bothered, as much as I loved them.
Star Ocean Tales of Symphonia Paper Mario: The really old door crimson sea 2 Dark Cloud 2: Dark Chronicle
All good, all half-complete or more, and all doomed to probably never being completed ^^;
Oh and I'm seriously considering hunting down arx fatalis and buying it. I played the demo again recently and was reminded of how awesome it is :3

[definitely some spoilers in this KOTOR2 related post...]
Maybe it was the fact it froze/locked-up every time I went through the loading screen on Dantooine, maybe it was the whole "mwhahahaha, you need to go back to your ship to continue any semblence of story!" thing on Nar Shaddaa (sorry, I don't leave mid-quests unless I need to...that was a stupid plot-device...), or the whole "There's a battle on Onderan...oh wait, a battle comprises 6 soldiers and shooting down some space fighters (optionally). Then again once you gather/kill the council it has the same outcome anyway. The boring last planet (and that boring last mission to turn on generators or something).
[end real spoilers]
The game sucks compared to the first one. There are 'deleted scenes' though, that make it more ...emotional or something; actually giving you some interaction with the people you bring with you. The way it is...you beat the boss and then...and then....they tell you in words what happen to some of your companions, and then the credits roll. Plus, it never gave me the option of becoming a super class. Plus it's not challenge (even without the super classes). Plus Korriban is a useless (I mean completely ****ing useless...). Plus the useless 'influence your party members, forcing you to play through the game again if you want to get all the subplots; along with the fact none of the characters are interesting. Plus, the side-quests suck compared to the first one...
Holy crap, I love that damn puzzle box in KOTOR1. If a guy ever wants you to transport a box to Tatooine from Korriban you damn well better say yes...and then look in the box. Best sub-subquest ever.
[various KOTOR spoilers end here.]
I usually finish my games. The one big one that comes to mind is Breath of Fire 3. I hate - hate - big labyrinthine final stages. Actually, I hated a lot in that game (especially that damn lighthouse where the furnace never wanted to work); if only they'd just tell me the story...
Never finished any of the GTA3+ ones...Although I own all 3. ...a game of M:TW/R:TW (I only find the first 150 turns or so interesting, for some reason - plus R:TW sucks since they "can't" patch it). ...FarCry, but I did cheat for the sniper rifle and shift through levels with a shotgun and sniper blowing everything away...which is fun. ...Skies of Arcadia...but then again I only rented it, but it was pretty good.

When I was younger, I didn't leave games unfinished. Now time is too precious to waste.
As a testament to my inability to put a game down... I played Black and White to the last island, when the "bug" makes your creature cursed and stay that way forever. This makes it shrink to uselessness and not obey your commands. And the evil god shoots fireballs at you constantly. I spent hours and hours to beat it anyway, without the patch to fix it. Insane.
I never got around to finishing Orcarina of Time, for shame. Quake or Doom too, because I only had the shareware. And Theme Hospital, but to be fair to me that game was DAMN hard when you got to that one level where Hairyitis first appears.
You guys think you're bad? Check out my list of unfinished games (and my excuses!):
Starcraft and Broodwar - MP was too addicting Warcraft 3 - only played on lan Quake 2 - only played mods Quake 3 - only played for about 10min Doom3 - sucked balls Battle for middle earth - almost beat, formatted without saving Farcry - way too long and hard Dues Ex - never even played...came with mobo Willrock - never played....came with GPU Giants - never played....came with sound card AvP2 - slow No one lives forever - formatted without saving CoD UO - MP too addicting Splinter cell 2 - computer controls are whacked Redneck rampage - why did I even buy this? Raven shield - Boring Rogue Spear - boring
Theres more to the list but I can't think of any...I'm picky.

If its the one with the night elf demi-god, youre supposed to encounter a story related buff that makes the orcs strong enough to take him on.
Daggerfall - because... because... I have no excuse.
Fallout 2 - Because it offers only superficial changes over Fallout 1, which I was already getting sick of.
Diablo 2 - Because it sucks.
KOTOR 2 - Because I don't want to play it until somebody fixes the ending.
Thief - Because the exploration levels are beyond awful and I can't bring myself to go through the lost city level.
Thief 2 - Because I haven't finished Thief
Thief 3 - Because I haven't finished Thief 2
Planescape: Torment - I'm working on it.

I agree with everyone who said it was stupid how tough the enemies were, and so ended up finishing it with cheats; the later levels were progressively more and more stupid, as was the story with its cliched, crappy, confused ending.
Anyway...

I don't think I actually ended up finishing Quake. I finished all the levels, but I didn't know how to kill the end boss.

I haven't finished Total Annihilation because I kind of lost patience\interest with the crappy AI and the "just build tonnes of missile launchers" approach to "strategy".

Black & White. What an utter disappointment that game was. I ended up getting to the fourth level after many, many days and finally got sick of it.

I got stuck on one of the last missions of NetStorm and stopped playing, and I no longer have the practise\skill to get back up to it.

I got up to the last (I think) level of C&C Tiberian Sun with both GDI and Nod before finally losing patience with the godawful "storyline", "acting" and "gameplay".

Completing Diablo 2 on all three difficulties requires the soulless devotion of a chronic gambler. I got as far as the first act of Hell difficulty before stopping. Still fun from time to time, but not on my list of things to finish.

Can't agree with you on AvP2 man, that game was awesome.
I have Thief. I have all 3. The first one I never finished. In fact, I only got to a cave level thats full of zombies.
I finished Theif: Deadly Shadows. And I'm working on finishing Thief 2: The Metal Age now. Maybe after that I'll tackle the first one. It feels kind of odd playing a series for the first time backwards.
But I don't feel to bad about not finishing Thief and Thief 2. I mean, I bought them together for $15 at Best Buy, after I had played the demo that came with my video card over and over and over.
As for games I haven't finished... Neverwinter Nights. And both expansions.
Because something that's in the intro cinematic... and the back of the box... and just about every piece of advertising for the game is a spoiler... while giving away the ending isn't.

Eh...I don't know. I just didn't like it. Which is hard, because my sister's boyfriend is the senior engineer at monolith..soo...yeah. I had to tell him I liked it.
I just started fallout 2 again, and sadly enough, I still can't get into it... it's so weird considering how engrossed I got in fallout 1 - I played through that one like 3 times... my crowning moment being 1 hit killing the boss with a gatling laser crit for like 5000 damage or some absurd number, when he has like 500 hp...
Got up to the bit with the mutants, and from there on couldn't be bothered.
I HATE the guy you play as in that game. He's too stupid.

his voice enrages me.

Ah. Well, I've played and finished Thief 2 and don't want to get Thief 3 without playing the first one. I found T2 in a bargain bin, but no sign of T1 anywhere.

Yes, I've just checked; there's only the vague mention that you'll play an important role and that some strange lady says you've been chosen. Predictable or not, I didn't actually see it coming when I played through and thought it was a really cool plot twist.
Ok, so "you beat the bad guy" or "the bad guy wins" is a spoiler too. Fair enough. Finger waggling to them, too.
which I doubt actually spoil that much.

Uhh, oookay... Just finished KOTOR2. Did I miss something? I defeated the she-****, she told me shiznit I already knew, then I flied away... Is that it? No glorious party ala KOTOR1? Just me a flying cutscene worth like 10 seconds and credit?
As a testament to my inability to put a game down... I played Black and White to the last island, when the "bug" makes your creature cursed and stay that way forever. This makes it shrink to uselessness and not obey your commands. And the evil god shoots fireballs at you constantly. I spent hours and hours to beat it anyway, without the patch to fix it. Insane.
Starcraft and Broodwar - MP was too addicting
Warcraft 3 - only played on lan
Quake 2 - only played mods
Quake 3 - only played for about 10min
Doom3 - sucked balls
Battle for middle earth - almost beat, formatted without saving
Farcry - way too long and hard
Dues Ex - never even played...came with mobo
Willrock - never played....came with GPU
Giants - never played....came with sound card
AvP2 - slow
No one lives forever - formatted without saving
CoD UO - MP too addicting
Splinter cell 2 - computer controls are whacked
Redneck rampage - why did I even buy this?
Raven shield - Boring
Rogue Spear - boring
Theres more to the list but I can't think of any...I'm picky.
