Granted, people have been saying NS has been dying since it came out, but the devide between competitive players and casual players became so large that many people simply lost interest, most servers turned to poor enviroments, even the strictest of servers had to ease up on rules just to have a playerbase. I think with NS:S you will make everyone who currently plays NS happy faster, but honestly those people are becoming few and far between. With NS2 you will not only have a means, but a responsability to make a game which is appealing to both the current players of NS, and people who do not play NS. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
NS2... I debated this one for a bit, but I figure that NS as it stands can't really get much better except visually, and that's not worth losing out on a potentially awesome new game.
Although, I would like to see NS:S someday, I'd rather see NS2 first and have NS:S come later as a "Remember the old days" style thing. Maybe both could be developed side-by-side, at least to a point.

I'm going with NS2. I'm sure the UWE team would be able to make a damn good game to impress us all. And this is assuming that the time taken for NS:S and NS2 is the same.
But if the time taken was different, I'd chose the product that took less time to produce.

Agreed totally.
