anyways, about the rifle, i can point out several problems with it but sense im looking at a game perspective here and not a real life situation, my only cmplaint is the handle no one else seems to like. trust me, in the military no one uses those stupid handles, they break, their bulky at times, it does not make it easier to carry (in fact it can be harder)
so in my view remove it. as for the rest of it, it looks great, nice body design, very sleek, other then it being rear heavy and forward barrle molding it seems great for ns. keep up the great work here.
ps. for those of you who are sitting there going "WTH where did this idiot come from" i am silver falcon, ive been playing ns sense version 1 and love it. im currently making 2 half life 2 mods (one based in high tech ww3 and the other is a homeworld series fps)
ill be hanging around the custom section here giving a military viewpoint on peoples models when needed (for those of you who like the who realism aspect) and showing off some of my work (ill be fideling around with making ns maps and posible models)
looks like the master cheif's assault rifle in halo 2. maybe a little --er lot like it eh?
and yeah bigbull has a good point there.

Sushi do you already have the concept for Heavy Armor done? I loved your spec ops LA and HMG model so much that I wanted to try to make a concept for HA. I've already started on it now. Im going for a kind of faceted surface look, like a stealth fighter.

polys should be fine I mean specops one is very detailed too, sure its only models but I run it on a hunk of junk:
