If you could get "growing" creep type stuff, how awesome would that be? Gorge perhaps could feed the creep and it would encourage growth. And aliens would have advantages fighting on the creep (also perhaps add a structure which spreads the creep.)
Then, going from half-life engine to doom3 engine would not be an easy task.
<span style='color:gray'><b>I</b></span>m still all for Natural-selection on the D3 engine, it just makes more sense then sticking it on the source engine.

I took a short look at the thing last night... it really doesn't look difficult to create say... a building entity. This engine wouldn't be difficult to bend over to an rtsfps.
