Studio editing makes her sound a million times better than she really does. And it is pop music on top of that, music birthed by a generation itself born into the title of "Consumer". For pop singers it isn't about good music it is about good sales. Sure any artist wants money and recognition, it is human to want that. But compromising the music itself is not right.
How does she compromise the music? By churning out rubbish, e.g. whatever sells. It is music without a heart, to appease a 30 second sound byte audience.

Don't get me wrong, your opinions are your own. But you have those opinions for the wrong reasons. I.E. Thinking that she is a great singer because she sounds good after editing and that tape over effect where they apply her voice multiple times to strengthen it. Or thinking that her music itself has any kind of message or truth, just because it sounds good.

And no, none of these are near screamer. Astarte is female 'scream your lungs off' music.

I personally don't like their music. Most of it honestly makes my ears bleed.
And I don't like most pop either- but frankly, good music is good music in my ears. And don't claim any of that "Well you just don't like the genre" stuff either- I doubt many people in the world at all like the entire range except most Country.
Her voice is a lot better than most of you think. As well as her music, in my opinion.

But the music that in your ears is good, is a farce! Studio editing makes her sound a million times better than she really does. And it is pop music on top of that, music birthed by a generation itself born into the title of "Consumer". For pop singers it isn't about good music it is about good sales. Sure any artist wants money and recognition, it is human to want that. But compromising the music itself is not right.
How does she compromise the music? By churning out rubbish, e.g. whatever sells. It is music without a heart, to appease a 30 second sound byte audience.

Don't get me wrong, your opinions are your own. But you have those opinions for the wrong reasons. I.E. Thinking that she is a great singer because she sounds good after editing and that tape over effect where they apply her voice multiple times to strengthen it. Or thinking that her music itself has any kind of message or truth, just because it sounds good.

I did mention Nightwish a bit before, but I was just pointing out male vocals because people were apparently talking about screamer bands. And no, none of these are near screamer. Astarte is female 'scream your lungs off' music.
And I disagree, Lacuna Coil doesn't have amazing vocals (though it's nice music)
