Very cool idea, but uber-blurriness is not wanted. I don't want to feel like I need glasses while I play NS and that it hurts my eyes when I play for hours. (please click link) <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
From the beginning it has been suggested as a console option. Anyone who doesn't is either forgetful or plain stupid.

Star Wars:Battlefront also uses the glow heavily..(you probably seen the screenies), it really does add alot of quality.

    *bumpage*

Hate necromancing... but this is a good topic and could be useful if we decide to move to the new engine

BTW- it's 3:30 am... so if I bumped a topic that's been a declared no... someone hit me with a tranq dart

At first I was almost positive it was going in, but when I actually learned at the CPL that Flayra didn't like the FPS hit.

Isn't NS supposed to be dark, gloomy, and atmospheric? Not full of blindly epileptic-fit inducing flares <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It looks nice I'll admit, but perhaps more suited to a mod like S&I.

but yet elitest players tweak their lighting to make it bright as hell/cs.

I thought the glowiness only affected lights? Meaning only lights would glow, meaning dark and gloomy would stay dark and gloomy.

This code was quoted as being easy to add. If it truely is I wouldnt mind seeing it in the game for those who wish to use it or take screenshots/movies.

    Looks nice.
To me i think that the contrast between the light and dark is too much. Took me a second to focus on the dark section on one of the earlier pictures.
(btw my graphics card sucks so i probably couldn't handle it)

    Still looks great though
