I have this game for 2 years now probably. I have played a lot on it however I installed it today and launched. The issue I'm getting is when I click quick join, Play Tutorial, Browse server, or ANYTHING else it shows me this after short loading screens and drops me back to main menu... The screenshot shows the it. I have tried disable my whole firewall on my PC completely i also checked if its blocking it and its not. I checked steam and its obviously on.

Welcome to the NS2 tech support.

Please read these instructions and try to provide us with a tech_support.zip

Otherwise steam has around the time of your report often maintenance downtimes so you might have run into the issue due to that.

This is the techsupport.exe zip file in dropbox.

this happens every time i click on play tutorial because I am required to do tutorial when i install the game. I cannot proceed tho since it gives me the message shown above.

Other users who had the same issue could solved it by following this instruction:

Okay make sure your firewall doesn't block the following port: UDP 8766 or ns2.exe in general. Please report back if that doesn't help.

In case that doesn't help please open the console with ~ (key above tab and next to 1), type in iamsquad5 and hit enter to bypass the tutorial.
