<div class="IPBDescription">skulk arachnid skin</div> Thought it might be possible to have a arachnid skin for skulk from starship troopers...
if any skinners can do an arachnid skulk, plz let me know.
This is the only decent pic I could find of the arachnids.

    There's been a few SST mods for HL. Unfortunately, all of them are pure crap. There's no good SST mod except for Quake 2, and you all know how Quake 2 is.

    Can you read?? i was going to put both pics in but it didnt let me do the skulk.

    i dont mean for the arachnid to be full size, i was woundering if someone could shorten it up...make it smaller so it fits. same with the lerk skin. I just wanted to know if it was possible, and if so, can someone do it for me?

    There's a SST mod in progress for Serious Sam too. It looked pretty good last time I checked it out.

    People are confusing the Skulk and the Lerk, here. The Lerk is the one that flies and shoots spikes. The Skulk runs around and bites the crap out of people.

    Baring that in mind, would some of you mind getting your ideas straightened out, please? 'Cause you're confusing the hell out of me, here.

    The hopper is perfect design for a lerk, the front jaws are perfect for bite

    The warrior is good for Onos except it doesn't have the right size, more suited for skulk shrunken down to size.

    If anyone has ever played SST:Terran Ascendancy, the bug models for that game were sweet, wish I could find it to purchase.

    After getting nearly to the end mission of SST:TA, I became very proficient in telling which bug was which and suited for what...such as NEVER EVER have a soldier bounce when their is a hopper nearby, cuz that soldier will walk home with just his legs.

    I started working on this conversion of a Q3 model you can find on <b>polycount</b> this morning, but I find myself at a point where I'm unhappy with the average attitude around here, so I'm not going to finish it. If you want the MS3D-format file with the original ReadMe and Skulk skeleton, I'll pack it and host it for you, but I don't feel like doing anything that doesn't interest me anymore. I feel there's too little appreciation, recognition and understanding around here to warrant the investment.

    Not to mention how you would have to remake a ton of custom animations. I've been working on custom made Zeiram models for the game. But they are just for Meeeeeeeee!

    No, you wouldn't have to remake the animations. All you need is a little creative proportioning and bone-assigning. I got the front legs working fine, the jaw's a little iffy, but that anim's easy to fix. The back legs is where it gets dicy, but you just have to remember that the bug's legs are the same shape as the Skulk's, only longer. I got the AL|ENS "runner" thing working. You can get the SST bug working too.

    I meant the lack of appreciation in general for any other member of the God damned human race.

    The other SST models available are the Morita rifle [a few varieties] and a mobile infantryman.

    I think its a good idea to make on of them things into a skulks. It would be cool with little bug things running around everywhere flying n ****. And Im not a modoler, but if the things to big..why not shrink it?
