Okay, it would be kool to at least be able to disable the minimap. I really think that no minimap at all is preferable once you know the levels as well as people like me do. The minimap isn't for helping you learn the map - it's to aid spectators in following the game. Icons move about on the minimap representing each alien/marine, so the spectator can easily see how the game is progressing, and where the action is going to be etc.

I noticed the little triangle thingie right next to the map, if that little thing would show where you were looking in relation to the map that would help out a little bit. Another great use of the minimap would be white blips on the map that would show the position of the other marines (maybe this would be a cheap upgrade on the observatory), if motion tracking was upgraded the minimap could show red blips on the minimap that would represent the location of aliens. I think there is quite a bit of potential for the minimap with the next release... Or even show marine buildings on the minimap in varying color that would show the health of the building. Maybe little symbols could be used for each different structure. As for bunny hopping it really upsets me... As a skulk when a marine jumps into the air and can actually controll their path in the air as though they were still on the ground, it makes me very frustrated.
The marines can only control their direction if they are jumping to a opject that is on the same hight pretty much, when they are jumping to something that is below them they have to do it perfectly or the gravity will squash them like a little bug, because the that you are falling the more room there is for a huge error. You can climb on walls, marines can not. Have you never tired to jump around something in real life? *granted you cant do a 360 like in HL but then again HL was designed with a alien world that has portals and huge bounce jumps in it with a jump-pack addon.*
Turning whilst mid air using strafe and turning the mouse is not bunny hopping. In TFC its called glide jumping, along with flicking the mouse just before you jump for extra speed.
Bunny hopping is where you keep your speed up by jumping as soon as you hit the floor. (Usually coupled with glide jumping to continously increase your speed)
Flayra - great job! I'd love you forever if you could implement voice_loopback 1 on demos - so you can hear what the demo'd person is saying in the demo!

I think it would be neat to be able to in spectator mode watch in com view but see both teams and everything from the overhead without any real Hud, just some stats windows that pop up about the player (health armor ammo equipment/upgrades) and teams.
For the overview map, are there different alien icons? Like in other mods, one team is one icon, the other team is a different icons. But the alien team can be so different....it would be cool so see that theres a gorge by the hive, and an onos right outside the marine base....just by the icons.
