CC= small nexus. make the crystal/light at top glow when occupied
IP= toss colored yellow ref beacon ( not a structure but nothing better would work for an IP it being a trash can lis on the ground) alternitave would be a gateway with a disk in front of it but thats A LOT of un needed polys.
armory= shield battery. other sturctures could be better used. would look good with a bunch of zealots sitting around a battery
armslab = forge. what esle gives you better weapons in SC?
protolab = cybernetics core. lower down the tech tree and more refined. also, the spining could be used as an upgrade animation
TF= plyon. dead ringer, the 2 are exactly the same save the supply thing
turret= cannon. oh come on
obs= OBSERVATORY. ITS PERFECT! HOORJ!
phasegate= warp gate. ok ill let this one slide but it IS A VERTICAL LOOP... so just apply the base to where the gate WOULD be and let marines just clip through the top part.
RT= assimilator. oh come on, what else?
i think that covers the structures, ill think of some weapons and why later. Ill add some UBAR PAINT PIX too

Well the head seems to look good. I dont wanna put a damper on anything but wow..making a total conversion. Thats ganna take awhile. And making buildings..i duno about modeling but that seems like a hefty sum of work ya gatta do. and i know a good skinner makes a sh*t model look great, but even so..well.I wish the best of luck to you all.

ok ok we need a texture now so we can grey scale that head down with some shading on its face cozi ave the best coloured skin theme so who is up to doing some texturing

I would try and do some of this myself but I can't model that well. I try and get help on the fourms but every time someone reads a combination of the words "how" "do" and "modle" they explode and scream "READ THE MODELING TUTORIAL NOOB OMGLOL>" No matter how many times you read that post, you will still have no clue how to model. I was lucky enough to have someone show me hoe to use 3dsM5 but his limitation was that he never animated or compiled anything according to HL .mdl files.
So the limitations of my skills are making skinned models, i cant animate or compile... so anyway, for whatever reason i posted that what i meant to say was I cant do anything myself, only suggest and guide.

Now thats my summary, and its the first one Iincluding ALL MARINE STRUCTURES: CC,Res,Sentry,Obs,Armslab and Prototype lab should be clear. I see no better use for both labs and the other stuff.
Look at pic for all not so sure stuff (not underlined).
TF: Tricky, could be a pylon (starcraft way) or a Forge (almost the same same just needs more polygons).
Armoury: A forge is no good for armoury, might look average and make no sense. Cybernetic core looks WAY better and makes sense as if its an essential SC building like the armoury.
IP: Makes more sense taking a Gateway here, but this just looks ugly because of the games dimensions. A robotics facility sounds and looks nice as IP, allthough its looks a little ugly. Shield battery looks nicer and still makes sense as an early building, just makes no sense to spawn in a Shield battery. And how to model that into NS, I just dont like that structure. A shield battery makes more sense as medpack and ammo (in a differend color) Robotics support bay looks great as IP but would look better (and make more sense) as phasegate. Arbiter Tribunal. Same as Robotics Support bay, just worse.

I actualy have quite a bit of experience with 3ds and might acutaly be able to make the weapons... its the getting them to become battle worthy that might take some work...

I think they should have a Scarab Launcher for a Grenade Launcher.
um it "could" be done with an animated texture but im not sure if models can have animated textures......
