Which I've systematically shot down. And cited examples each time.
IMHO without actually SEEING the film, not one of us here can make any sort of comment. I know the WoD "theatre", tho I've not read the novel... but even if I had, thats only one side of the story. Without the film, you can't definitively state either way who is the valid client.
Bear in mind White Wolf (as plaintiff) will be picking out everything that agrees with THEIR interpretation. So for every 10 quotes they give in defence, there could be the same, half, or even double the amount of quotes in terms of rebuttal.

THE HOT COFFEE LAWSUITE IS WAS PERFECTLY VALID AND HAS BEEN MISREPRESENTED TO THE POINT OF ABSURDITY!
For gods sake THE WOMAN HAD 3RD DEGREE BURNS ON HER GENITALS AND COULDN'T freaking MOVE FOR A MONTH!
She had to have SKIN GRAFTS.
McDonalds served coffee at 180 freaking DEGREES!
She was sitting in the passenger seat of a parked car NOT DRIVING
McDonalds used crappy enough cups THAT THE CUP PARTIALLY MELTED!
She was only suing for her medical bills and lost wages since her daughter had to take care of her. THE JURY decided to award her 2.7 million dollars which got reduced by the judge to 600K.
STOP USING THE COFFEE LAWSUITE AS AN EXAMPLE OF FRIVOLOUS LAWSUITES CAUSE IT WAS NOT ONE!
Exactly what Hyper Geek said. I'm also getting tired of having to correct people on the facts of that lawsuit <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
