Bah the newbie tried to throw off my question! Just kidding, But seriously is that a mod or just a new game mode added with the patch? Or is it the Primal Hunt expansion?
Its the Evac gametype. So there.

NEw playtest this weekend . . .and all y'all know what that means . .
Listen, you won't be able to get the chains of NS off your arms any way, so why wreck your mouse hand.
Oh and Humbaba, those stories better be here or you will be in much pain. I may even force you to confess bob instead of skulk, and then what would happen to your PT spot.

I played in one game thus far, and let me tell you the new build is AMAZING! Bast was the map, and I joined the good ol TSA.
I spawned at the base and we completed the obligatory rp collector. Afterwards, my commander says "tommy-d, humbaba, you tow scout resource nodes, everyone else stay at base". Well, we head off down the lift, and through the large reinforced doors leading to the double node in Atmospheric Processing. I arrive and a resource tower is waiting fro construction, all scrunched up like a four legged mechanical spider. We begin construction, ogling the new animations for the marine. I hear the tell tale ticking of claws, ah . . .somethings never change. I spin around and me and tommy-d let loose a volley of Light Machine Gun Fire. The Skulk twirls over like a wounded dog. We resume construction and finish the tower, its 4 support legs clunking out and the pump plunging into the node. The pumping noise of the tower masks the sound of another skulk, which runs around the corner, up a wall, and behind a support pillar. Theres a part in every horror movie where someone does something really really stupid. I played that part. I poked my little nose around the pillar and heard the tick of claws letting loose their grip on the hard steel. The skulk lets out a roar and slashes me. I whirl around at the dark shape as it blurs past me in a circle, firing lmg shots wildly at my feet. I break off running and draw my pistol, taking aim as the alien tears through tommyd in two angry Chomps. My pistol failed to faze the beast, and i redraw my LMG. I reload and run behind a support, but the skulk gives chase. I begin jumping in the air and unloading gun fire, running, twirling. All the while, I am one bite away from oblivion. I exhaust my second clip. This Alien was just too fast for me, and the screen goes black to the infamous CHOMP! sound. Respawning, I travel with my fellow marines to the engine room, through the airlock, carrying a newly available Heavy Machine gun. A Skulk runs up the ramp to the engine room, and is splattered in seconds. We move down, 2 of us, and join another 2 man fireteam in the engine hive room, which is completely empty. We fill the room with turrets and base structures, and I move out. My commander completes research on motion tracking at this time, and I look around. Selecting a blue blip (and all alone after being told to continue scouting for nodes), I run back up the ramp, and rendezvous with none other than Flayra, carrying an LMG. We apporach a lift and are about to open the door when a beep is heard and I look down. At the base of the lift, as seen through the wall, is a blue ring. Its growing, getting closer, moving up. The lift hums. Flay and I back into a corridor going the opposite end and crouch, centering our crosshairs on the door. The blue blip appears behind the door. The door Slams open and a lvl 4 Storms forward. Flay and I unleash a deafening roar of HMG and LMG gunfire, and the fade collapses in the doorway. We both are overjoyed. Moving into the lift, flay takes a ladder while I hit the button and slide down. After that, I had to go cause my brother needed the computer. BUT NOW! I AM RETURNING TO THE SERVER! and I will have more, much more.
GJ Hum! NOW GET BACK TO WORK!
I see this 'brother of yours is bothering you' want me to erm... sort him out? A little of the rough stuff never hurt anyone (much) and he obviously isnt the sharpest tool in the box otherwise hed simply gaze at the screen in awe. Besides, he isnt a PTer or a developer and yet he has seen NS... surely he has to die anyway?
(good story btw )

edit: Forgot something entertaining I thought I'd share with you guys. I was playing AvP 2 about a week ago, and it was a team objective map, I was playing as a marine (of course). A rather devistating attack at the hands of a few aliens had left our team with only 7 members, including myself, instead of 15. We were retreating to our airlock spawn when we were ambushed by 2 aliens, who we managed to waste in about 2 second flat (5 pulse rifles, my smartgun, and a shotgun tore the ugly f*ckers new orafaces >=]). We then decided to head to the armory and restock, which was about 30 meters away. When we arrived, 4 aliens popped out of the ceiling vents above us and claimed the lives of 2 marines, head-biting them both. We killed 'em. We then entered the armory and locked down the doors and sealed them from the outside. Little did we know that there was an alternate entrance to the room, through the floor. We stocked up and healed, and then resolved to make a mad dash for the airlock to safety, and victory, when the lights blinked out. What came next was easily the greatest gaming moment I've ever encountered. We all dropped 3 or 4 flares, and activated out shoulder lamps, knowing what to expect next. atleast 8 aliens shot out of the floor, some clinging to the ceiling, others to the floor. It didn't much seem to matter, as we shot all who came forth. I ended up being the only survivor of the incident. I knew what I had to do. I rushed the door, opened it, and found an empty, silent hallway. I dashed towards the airlock, backpedaling and wasting aliens as I went. I finally made it to the airlock, closed the doors, and took off in the shuttle. It was one hellova ride.

I have AvP2 and I have played multiplayer and I don't remember that you could ever use flares in multi plus you can't seal doors on the original game. The other thing is you can't turn off the lights on any of the maps. It doesn't what type of game you were playing, those things I list top cannot be done in the original game. Renegade where you playing a mod? Were you playing X-Coop? If its not I'm very interest in what mod you were playing.
As I said a while ago, we either repect the devs or they have us brain washed. I don't care either way, long as it reduces their stress level so they can get NS out. Bob, pudgy, blinky and tiny are going to relegatedy to some feature in the futre when they look at the beginning of NS.
I think I'll go buy Aliens Versus Predaters later also.
Technically it's a mod. A server side one I've only seen on about 3 servers, but adds a sh*t load of atmosphere to the gameplay. It's hella awesome.
Another time when I was playing AvP2 on the modded server, we were on a colony map, just us 12 marines grouped together indside a warehouse after sealing the doors, licking our wounds and restocking our weapons. That's when it started to get good. We heard scraping noise on the roof above us, and knew the aliens were trying to find a way in. Luckily for us, they didn't come in through the roof, no no no, they came in throught the walls! After waiting 10 seconds after the scratching noises dissipated, a hole broke open in the west wall and about 10 aliens popped through, screaming and hissing all the way. Scared the hell outta me. We opened fire immidiately, those with pulse rifles shooting grenades at the lightning fast beasts. We ended up with only 2 casualties which were caused by stupid fools discharging the grenades pretty much sat their feet. We then decided to open the main doors and rush the eastern tower and escape. We were accompanied by a plethora of angry aliens all pissy about having the sh*t shot out of them. About 6 of us made it to the tower, the rest became morsels for the aliens. We sealed the doors and rushed to the apc. At the apc were 4 very good alien players, who killed 4 before biting it. It was just me and another marine now, and one person had to go into the control room to open the escape doors. He opted and I stayed in the APC. No sooner had he than his head was eaten by a hidding alien. I smacked the button for the APC to go, but it wouldn't. I waited tensly as the alien came into the apc, unaware on my presence. I nailed 'em. Then, the apc jetted off, and I didn't look back.
