I don't see what purpose the lifepod would have outside of role playing. And it's way too big to fit inside or attached to a cyclops.
The other point is interesting though - maybe later in the he you can use the fabricator or something… -
The initial cost of thermal just makes so much sense when you consider it's set and forget.

Maybe the bunker can disengage and rise to the surface? Would be cool for some role play but in the game, I've yet to actually see anything attack or damage a base on purpose. Even when built in dangerous areas. -

I think that the power cells last just enough time. I used to carry an extra power cell in the storage of my sea moth, just in case. At the time, it was more of a role playing thing I felt made sense. Like in Energy cells last too long Comment by BTown780 April 2018
