Thanks for replies guys, I forgot to mention: with current respawn rate some upgrades, for example, drill arm, are pointless (for me). If resources didn't respawn, I would be jumping with joy, but now - why bother?

I agree with "gradual" drifting concept. Also, maybe some scripted weather would be nice, there's already a timed scripted event (Aurora meltdown), so, first gentle controlled drifting, and then... "bad weather happens" and lifepod could be carried …
