A real answer would have been saying why there will be no base update, at least give a source if you're so sure. Some informations are still better than just a "no".

Yeah I have it too, not really an issues because Acid Shrooms explode when hit, and make them near exploding too. We should have a way to harvest them.

Have you already check the support forum ? There is lot of solution about CTD. A simple solution is about check the steam cache integrity first. This could help.
