Honestly I think some Youtube LPers word of mouth is worth far more than banner ads (that many people block) or commercials on TV.

I'unno about the Powered By Radiation thing. Radiation is mostly a thing after the Aurora explodes and before you fix it, plus times when you pick up uranium. -
Wow, I didn't think it was possible to top the levels of "Are you for real?" from the people who insisted that co-op isn't the same thing as Multiplayer, but...

Maybe later as an optional toggle in for those who WANT to test themselves for a speedrun... But it wouldn't be fun to be the default option, IMO. Cuts into the exploration if you're too worried about dying.

JUST a month or two? THAT fast?
They'd need to put in the very ABILITY for that, put them in the world, make sure they work properly, add models, make sure nothing borks, figure out how to edit in ways to ensure that yo… -

Well, yes, you ARE entitled to give your opinion.
It's just that others are entitled to say "Well I don't think this is a good idea because of this college paper's worth of reasons".

I hope if they bring her personality back, it's not some snarky passive-aggression. I personally found the PDA to be far more hysterical with the "Good job not dying! in Less Interesting Dialog Comment by Kyman201 September 2017

Clearly the MC names them. "Okay this is a fishy thing that hovers... A Hoverfish. This is a fish with a big eye. A Peeper. This thing looks JUST like Gary from the ship, I'll call it a Garryfish." -
Garath, are you like a mantis shrimp? Can you perceive like 14 base colors that we humans can't even imagine? Because honestly, Subnautica is one of the most colorfully vibrant games I've seen recently.
Can you like, grab a screencap and… -
So from reading comments here I'm forced to conclude that I'm some kind of robot, because I've never really lost my way in any of the caves, and that's without using a Dive Reel. Not once.

We have a giant gun base. They can try. -
I agree with the sentiment of "Do we NEED to keep people out of the Void?" Like, if someone spends ten minutes driving off into nothing and sees nothing forever and their reaction is "... Maybe if I spend like an HOUR driving"? Their fault for being…

Also worth considering: Storms churn up the water too. You could throw in some other hazards if you're near the surface. Currents, turbulence... And hell, storms could ALSO cause new stone deposits to spawn, with the justification of "Stormy seas ma…

My logic to why this kind of strawmanning is ridiculous is frankly? Who gives a shit?

It amazes me that these threads go on as long as they do. It should literally go like this.
- Poster A: We'd like a female avatar
- Poster B: We're getting one, [here] is the model.
- Poster A: Oh, neat, thank you

No no, you want to avoid Reapers near the Aurora?

Somehow that's less off-putting. Can't put my finger on why. -
Note-Taker - Uncover every data file
And that means EVERY. Scan every creature, every plant, every blueprint, find every file in the bases, the wrecks, the lifepods, in the Aurora...
EVERY FILE! -
Speaking of new biomes, I have high hopes for that Arctic Biome the devs seemed to really like the idea of.

But the PRAWN can go deeper. It's hardier, can store things easier, and is better fit for deep-sea exploration, then hiking back to a base or the Cyclops.
We HAVE a small fast travel vehicle. It's called the Seamoth. -
Counterpoint: There's really not much of interest ON the surface outside of the mountains and the floating islands. At least underwater there's varying scenery. Cruising on the surface would get dull, QUICKLY.

I think at one point there were plans for a massive ambush predator in the Dunes not unlike a bobbit worm. It got removed due to focusing elsewhere, I think, but it might not be a bad idea for an expansion pack or something.
