Please go through the steps to recreate the problem, and quite the game.
Then run the techsupport.exe found in the game's 'x64' sub-folder, and post the zip file.
After that try running the RepairGame.exe utility located in the same 'x64… -

Almost. Only the _models_ are affected. The mapper created geometry is unchanged. However, NS2 maps use a lot of models in its levels, so the change is pretty pronounced imo. I also added support for toggling other things on/off, s… -

It doesn't add a few hundred Mb, it was over 1.7Gb, which is why I removed it from the NS2 depot. It was essentially unused and just bloating the installation footprint.

Please try going into your NS2 installation folder, and open the "_CommonRedist/vcredist/2013" folder, make sure that both the folder's setup files are run. These are external dependencies that NS2 requires. The most important one is to run t…

I looked over your tech_support dump and didn't see any obvious problems. So, I'm reasonably positive it's not an issue with fetching the files from Steam or your installation.

I was just looking at this a few weeks ago. It's on my radar, but there are a lot of other items ahead of it.There is a really good chance this will get resolved soon. A little too soon to say aside from that right now. We are most certainly aware of that annoying bug though. We just pushed a Linux Client only update.
This should resolve that script error (and all the resultant spin-off issues of it).
Unfortunately, that means the FMOD symlink tweak will need to be re-applied.

Yes, it's not 100% accurate, and it never will be. Good luck finding an algorithm that can be with the inherent variability involved with NS2. Also, in Thoughts On: Smurfing, Family Sharing, Hours Played, Cheating, Balance, and Accepting the Game Comment by McGlaspie April 2017(Quote)
By design, the extensions do not get loaded when running a local listen server. They will be loaded if you run a dedicated server (locally or hosted elsewhere). Generally, we don't put much in these and they're typically used for h…
