Me too, also had a different bug last night where I was speccing a fade while he was blinking, then I respawned and all I could hear was constant blinking sounds....very annoying and loud. It lasted for a good minute before it finally stopped.
I get the same thing every now and again, quit the game as per normal and about a second after it goes back to desktop, the machine hangs. It does however come out of it, after about 3 minutes.
I agree with scatter and that if the next update does not hit the sweet spot, NS2 will be lost forever.
The NS2 scene in Australia is dead. There are no clans (but one). There are no scrims. ENSL and CyberGamer just finished and I doubt ver…I bought the Creative Recon wireless headset a couple of months ago. I set it to scout mode and can hear skulks from two rooms away, no sneaking up on me. Awesome headphones but very expensive.
Plus I worked out on the weekend I can power th…AURONS2, I basically live on the monash servers, only problem is, they are always full (and so they should be too!) so this is when I venture out to different pastures and play the Onos Bar.

NS2stats and DAK are the problems here I have found. Stock standard games with no mods I have not had a problem (500+ hours of commander on high level competitive matches).
I wont command now with servers that run DAK as I have found multiple…Out of all the servers around the world, you can almost ALWAYS count on the 34 player onos bar server to be full. Lets be honest here, even on 18 player servers the tick rate drops late game.Same here, definitely DAK related.Had another one last night on Mineshaft, couldnt drop the repair res node. I beleive it is an NS2stats fault.Its quite obvious that the aliens are females. Females would rule the world, except females hate other femals, well, anything else for that matter.
