I believe the majority of the snowballing we see are due to the difference in player skill.
Any solution would need to have no contribution to skill scaling, and only help to guide newer players to optimize their play.

Perhaps it's time to give back Gorge one Cyst, now that Cyst chain is so easily cut off. Good marines exploit it and can completely ruin early game alien economy on certain maps.

I think Xeno should destroy the weapon marine is carrying if the marine dies from the explosion. It would help ending the endless weapon recycling.

I think Prowler abilities could use some redesign. For example, separate the buffs into individual abilities (eg enzyme), and change some of the buffs into projectiles would bring challenge and skill element to playing the uber drifter.

Hmm I really liked the feel of the AVP2 predator shoulder cannon. Maybe railgun could have an energy bar that partially depletes per shot, with a charged shot fully draining the energy causing a long cooldown.

Maybe 2 Marines would spawn from each larger infantry portal (scaling up to 4). Nanoshield would have to be improved so IPs don't go down easily between lengthy waves.The default upgrade picks were intended for players who are respawning for the first time and did not pick any evolutions. It could be an option that can be opted out from the menu.
I think it's worth a try, since aliens tend to feel horrible…Well since aliens always hatch from eggs as Skulks, shouldn't evolve last upgrades only memorise the upgrade on skulks? From my understanding, it does not record the upgrades on all the life forms yet. Though I know it's a half finished feature.

I wouldn't mind a giant Drop ship/Monstrosity piloted by the commander (hey they should get some action too!) which deals terrible terrible damage, and heals nearby teammates.
There are so many possible ways to allow 3 …I wonder what the reason for moving Spores to biomass 5 is? I think it should even be moved to biomass 3, to give low skill Lerks something to use mid gamr, and balance around it. The default Lerk with bite and spikes is rather challenging to use.Back on the topic of Exo balance. I can think of two ways to buff Exo just off the top of my head, without changing movement speed, health, or damage (which are mostly fine at the moment).
