Look, if you don't like anime, just don't post. Plenty of other places on this forum you can post.
Do the impossible! See the invisible! WHOA WHOA FIGHT THE POWER!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> I was on board with this anime before ep1 even aired.. as soon as I heard it was about MECHA COMBAT AND HOT BLOODED DRILLING ACTION~!
well theres only two episodes of Gurren Lagann left so now would be a good time to catch up <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
Agreed on both points except that I didn't quite shed tears <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />.
Lucky Star had an awesome ending. The confusing part of this is that you usually need a plot to have an awesome ending... it seems that they managed to sneak a plot in and not inform any of us.
bah the last episode of School Days isnt being shown 2day <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> some kid killed a cop with an axe, so we can assume that the last episode is bloody and they cut it because of that. Might get shown later in the week tho
Oh boy, I've been absent from this thread for way too long it seems. I instantly noticed the Kanon pictures and I was like hell yeah! Why won't my avatar change to the Kanon one I set it?!?!?
Also you people need to watch Code Geass, Haruhi and Air.
I liked Code Geass. I think it is one of the better shows I've seen. Also, apparently there is some controversy with the last School Days episode. Sounds like it was rather bloody and due to a recent homicide in Japan, most of the stations are refusing to air the last episode.
Forgot to mention; I also just recently finished watching Mushishi. Great stand-alone series, that focuses more on the supporting characters than the main central one himself. Doesn't have all the action most shows have, but it's most excellent to just sit back and enjoy.

I just can't take Code Geass... like, the whole thing. I can't deal with the people-with-big-googly-eyes-who-are-made-of-sticks aesthetic presented by an anime like this... and then there's the "I'm the most BADASS LITTLE KID IN THE UNIVERSE!" cliche that outright pisses me off.
If you're gonna do "biggest badass in the universe" kick it old school and watch M.D. Geist. Hells yeah. They just don't make anime like they used to. :/
It's by CLAMP so obviously they would look like sticks. Also the fighting in it is awesome, especially between the Lancelot and the red one...can't remember the name.
I cried watching Code Geass in the last few episodes, I mean it a good homer/Shakespearean way, there I said it. Don't ditch it too soon. Over the top drama, great mecha action.
Supposedly the last School Days episode is going to air tomorrow (or is that today in Japanese time).
Just finished Full Metal Alchemist. It was a good series though some of the ending was a bit strange. I guess it was a mostly happy ending though so that's better than some shows I've seen lately <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Edit: Just saw this on the animesuki forums about the last episode of School Days.

I am looking for an anime, can you help me find this? Can't remember the title.
The boy is really angsty, and talks alot to himself, describing his emotions. The girl in it is a jumpy one who closes her eyes when talking, oh and of cause it is on a school too. Oh and whenever they speak a bubble appears and the boy goes even angstier. Which one is that?
I guess this week is pretty much the end of the season for the remaining few shows. Finished Darker than Black over the weekend (which was pretty good) and I have a few others like Heroic Age, Seto no Hanayome, and Nagasarete Airantou that should have their last episode this week, then I have Hayate which will keep on going into the next season ^_^. Anyone know of any good shows coming up this next season ?

Anybody know if there are more than 14 episodes or not for Gunslinger Girl? =X I like that anime, very story oriented, but kinda short just to be 14 episodes.
There is just those for now but there is a second season announced. <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->A second season of the series was officially announced on the October issue of Dengeki Daioh, which is slated to air during the spring 2008 season and will follow the Pinocchio arc of the manga<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunslinger_girl" target="_blank">Wikipedia</a>

You mean the Al in the real world ?
If so, he is not Ed's brother but someone looking like Al. In fact, alot of folks in the real world look like those in Ed's birth universe. Watching the movie shows this point even more.
Found another new show that is quite amusing. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doujin_Work" target="_blank">Doujin Work</a>. It is quite funny. I came across it when I was looking around digg and saw an article about a Cat Cafe in Japan and the article had a clip from this anime in it. The basic story is about a girl who decides to try to make money selling doujin when she loses her job. There's a pretty small cast of characters and the episodes are pretty short but they are quite amusing.
I dunno if it has been mentioned yet but PlanetES (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetes" target="_blank">clicky</a>) was just right for my taste. Space themed with better graphics then the average anime and humor. Might be hard to find though, try some torrent search engines.

Theres the last episode of Nanoha stikers to go yet but the last few episodes have been awesome its just a shame that the rest of the series doesnt really match up. I think my favourite series this year has been towards the terra, deffo worth looking into if your like scifi : )
Night wizard is the only new series i've seen this season so for and I liked it.. new shana too probally cant really go wrong there.

Lonyo should be happy about that.
