Well past it working with the above, I always work with One viewport, most of the map is hidden in layers and its badly laggy in unlit mode, Mine hangs for a few seconds every 5 min cause of auto save. file is 4.2MB in size now and only half done...
Mine's 8.1 mb with 1 room completly done and 60% basic geometry for the rest with a 20% lighting and 10% props :p But i attribute that to having wayyy more complex geometry then you guys, but far less props. Each vert has it's own XYZ and a model has just 1 "vert", it's pivot point. So i don't think filesize is the culprit.
It can be either 1 of 2 things after i did some searching. Either the editor is beeing CPU limited (i'm only seeing 1/4 cores utilized on my CPU, i don't think it's multithreaded). or it's GPU limited since what it does use of my CPU, it hardly changes even if i turn all layers on or off, but the camera does move consistantly slower.
Personally i'm thinking GPU limitation. The devs can't have ignored multithreading if the editor was CPU limited.
Hiya, This is a tiny bit more I managed to squeeze out of the editor, Generic corridoor. I am doing as many spaces as possible linked with short corridoors such as these with plenty of head room.

I love the large open spaces in this map (seems so less cramped then Tram, but that may be the camera angles in the first few screenies you've provided). Looks like it would be fun to play this as a Lerk!

Props impact the performance none so ever; it's your lighting.
