Alright so the press beta weekend is over and there's a bunch of content on youtube and whatnot. For those who wish to see some in-game footage, I'd suggest browsing through <a href="http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/press-closed-beta-test-t27964.html" target="_blank">this list</a>. The GW2G stuff looks pretty choppy due to some recording problems, but Totalbiscuit's and Yogcast's videos are much nicer.

I am not getting any confirmation email. But trying to sign up again tells me that that email address has already been used for signup... so I guess I'm in their database at least. Or something. Oh well, it's not like I'd get in anyway, I'm pretty sure most of the western hemisphere has signed up by now.

It's crazy how many betas there are at the moment. That's me in the Tera beta and the Continent of the Ninth limited VIP beta and the Diablo III beta's been running for a good long while now. I'm probably pushing my luck trying to get into a 4th, but hey! it's Guild Wars 2! and I'm pretty much guaranteed to buy 2 of 3 previous games when they actually hit retail (I've not played Continent of the Ninth yet though I hope to solve that problem tonight :p )

i remember arena net having this one and a half month of open beta load test, like they had with guild wars1 then a closed beta phase to run these new acquired numbers again and a 2 week open load test to verify it

The deluxe edition contains an elite skill that I may never use, a miniature that does nothing and depicts a character I don't care about wearing completely ridiculous armour, and three items that are either single-use or for a limited duration. I'm not paying twenty dollars for that. Regular edition for me.
Where are you getting those prices from though? I don't see them listed anywhere. The 150 dollars one in particular seems dubious and makes me wonder if someone isn't pulling a fast one if you have that from an external source.

Normal Edition: 49.99$
Digital Deluxe Edition: 69.99$
Collectors Edition: 149.99$ (Yeah...I know...)
So, Digital Deluxe for me, includes all the bonuses. I was going to buy the CE, as I love GW, but 150$ is far to much for the extras you get.
3x the price of the normal edition for an art book, a OST, and a statue. Even if it is a 10-inch statue.
Weird to note; there will be no physical copies of the game, save CE.
