Basically since you form the country of koosh (too lazy to look back what you called it) the lost river , lost its owners . The new-luddites stepped in and since we said we would guard the lost river as it had strategic openings we said we would keep half and that half would be supplied through the primary blood kelp or secondary (can't remember which). The neo luddites diddnt like this and wanted to take over the blood kelp and starved out the RCS, so they would be easy picking for invasion.

We said no and now all hells been released.

So, there were some parties and now we're preparing for war thanks to a bunch of stuff. I think the only way to get up to date, if you want to, is to read this whole thing from about page 6. That's where the GCSC starts trying to convert people hardcore, and where a couple of things start to escalate. I'd recommend doing it, this whole thing is actually really cool to be involved with, even if you're just reading it as it goes along :)

You seem to forget that the LR never lost it's owner. We retained that territory until we ceded it to the NLAP. You never owned any part of it, and if this does turn to war, your side will not be the one the Republic of Koosh supports.

It appears as though the GCSC have forcefully claimed the northernmost Blood Kelp. We have stationed troops at the northern end of the Bone Field, and are searching for communist spies in the Grand Reef's borders. We are also planning our first attack.

In the Blood Kelp were also some of our own flesh and blood. They have been captured and we have reason to believe their size and strength are being exploited in the GCSC's favour. We will not abandon our people. This is war.

I think we've all lost the plot ourselves, it's just all devolved into political nonsense. Just enjoy it and don't think too much. ;)

I don't mean to alarm you @phantomfinch, but I believe some of your soldiers are sick with the deadly Carar virus!

these heros know that they will not return home. They have stated they will sacrifice their lives to demoralise and infect the neo-luddites. A riskey move like this is what will win us victory over the luddites. If this does not work we will have to use the atom initiative.

So will this be a World War, or just a war between GCSC and N-LAP, because I'd like to know where the NVP comes in. They seem to like violence, and war is nothing but violence. Which side would they join? Any NVP representatives like to comment?

I doubt the NVP will fight for either side. They will take advantage of this war to further their cause, but luckily the Reef Conglomerate (which is what we have renamed ourselves for this conflict) has much of its land under the ground, only accessible by small holes int he rocks above. We will be safe, but I doubt the GCSC by the mountains will.

Hopefully SAHP won't have to be involved in this, but if they do they have claimed they won't be joining the GCSC for many reasons. I don't want them to get involved; the Republic of Koosh is very close to the Central Communist States, so they might be forced to, but hopefully they don't. The answer to your question is it depends; I'd rather it just be a battle between us and the GCSC, however this could change very very easily.

We do not enjoy violence. We have a violent nature but we do not seek it. Not in this fashion anyway.

We will fight. But only if we are presented with a win-win offer from either side.

Reapers would be very useful in this war... could turn the tide either way. Offers are open; I do not fight with former enemies willy nilly.

Though in all honesty the Neo-Luddites have more in common with us than the Shoal.

N-LAP has some great news to share with you all!

N-LAP has made some vital steps in securing the second Blood Kelp biome, which is one of the only entrances to the Lost River not controlled by N-LAP, and we feel it is one of the most important. This biome is rather central, and many parties have unlimited access to it. Now we have made some bold moves in taking this biome. Since many of our allies have made their homes here, it was rather easy to sway the people into wanting us as their biome's leader. Now (if no one wishes to contend with N-LAP) we shall secure the biome.
Srsly, if you wanna fight for your claim to the Blood Kelp that leads into the small little Lost River entrance, do it, don't be afraid!

We accept, but no funny business.

    Apologize for my silence.

Times are tough. We need some reinforcements, since although we have much in common the GCSC has the upper hand on us still. They have more land, they have greater numbers; they could overrun a Reaper in minutes due to their small size. They also have Warpers, and the Health/Safety organisation on their side. They could warp our men to the centre of a shoal, and end a Reaper quite quickly. If you could join us, it would give us a slight advantage that we would have had by tomorrow if this war hadn't broken out. We would have their biomes surrounded.

The GCSC has numbers, but the Reef Conglomerate has hope, and greatness. Join the conglomerate and find prosperity in all actions you take.

But I must ask SAHP if they are comfortable with the NVP joining this alliance we are forming.

A bit too slow, as the Shoal already offered me a position in their armies. But I favor the Neo-Luddites.

But the Shoal has offered me the Koosh Zone for aiding them. I require something of you. What can you offer the party that the Shoal hasn't? I don't trust the Shoal, and that gives you an advantage in this negotiation.

I can inform you that they don't have ownership of the Republic of Koosh in the first place; SAHP does. If they intend to give it to you they would have to take it by force and hand it over, which is something that the Conglomerate and the Republic will not let happen. We are willing to offer you information, however, and a small portion of our armies. We will grant you eastern portions of the Grand Reef, and will hand over seven hundred of our best men to defend your biomes. We will also, if we win the war, get rid of that ugly Aurora, which is something the GCSC do not intend on doing, which is something I remember hearing a while back.

You do good to favour us. Now it's time to make the right choice and join the Alliance.

I dont want to rain on your parade (quite literaly)

But last time i checked you had a island supported by floaters above your head. and you know what else is on the island?

A teleporter that i can set to self destruct, WHICH WILL CRIPPLE THE ISLAND'S STRUCTRE AND RAIN THOUSANDS OF TONS OF ROCKS ONTO YOU PETTY BIOME, which will result in a possible colapse of the deep grand reef cave. Therefor your entrence to the lost river biome will be lost.

Call of your armies and drop this alliance with the NVP, or i will detonate these precuror structures, I dont care all we need is the gun and the primary research to be intact. I could even kill NVP reprentatives by detonation the powerstation and causing a eruption if i wanted to.

Dont mess with the GCSC or we will rain atomic fire on your plans.

You do understand that we also have one side of this portal on our side of the portal, and we also have beneath he Sparse Reef a surplus of Ion Crystals. We also know that on your end there is an enormous amount of Precursor technology and Ion Crystals, and an explosion there would mean the end of the mountain island. If our calculations are to be belied the boulders from the island's destruction would roll down into the Underislands and crush your military assets stationed there. We hold more of a threat than you do, and you would be wise to stand down if we "try anything".

The Shoal are enemies of the current state of affairs. They ran in the election and became enemies with all that oppose them, as their oppressive form of governance always comes down to.

We, the National Violence Party, declare our allegiance with the Reef Conglomerate.

Guys, should we make a war thread now, or should we wait a little longer for alliances to truly be formed? I'm fine with either, and I want to add my input when it comes to how it would work:

Firstly, someone would attack. You begin your post by saying what you were attacking, and whether it was a large or small attack (battle or not-battle worthy). Then the owner of this biome has the right to defend their position in another post, outlining strategies and soforth (the attackers should outline strategies too). Then allies of these parties can intervene and come to help the fight, Battle of the Bastards style, if they so choose.

That's how I see it going down, anyway :)

Im afaid that your side of the teleporter cannot be activated. However our side can with the ion crystals.

Also tell me what are you going to do with those crystals, last time i checked you wouldnt accept using technology and now you are going to do just that.

If you want the Koosh, you come right on over and take it. The second we spot one single red mandible you'll have your eyes torn out. I am not afraid to use all force I can muster. Including the one thing you're afraid of.
