My name is from Trigun like so many others. I changed to include a bit of L E E T speak so that I could actually sign up because "Vash the Stampede" was taken. Trigun is one of my favorites in the Anime world. When I started playing NS, I loved using the pistol (even though it isn't practical in all situations). Put two and two together and you have:

Maroc - that company that makes those delicious little Clémentines that are out during christmas time... i was looking around my basement for a good name (used to be known as Duplo or AxeMonkey) and that one struck my eye... not only that, it gave me my own personalized stickers, which I have stuck over everything.
back in the day with half-life lan parties, i killed a friend of mine who called me an **** wipe. so from then on, i took the handle of ass_wipe wherever i went. when i got into modelling and animating junk for HL, i decided that ass_wipe was probably not the best name to use. so looking around my room i saw my deftones poster, thought about it, and reaching back to the 80s rap scene, def_one came about. def being one of those incredibly dated slang words that died with 'fresh' and 'fly'.

Iv always been called The Incredible Hulk by most people. Till one day I see on TV this cartoon called the "Justice Friends" and this big guy who liked to watch cartoons and acted nutty kinda reminded me of myself his name was "The Infragable Krunk" so I took the name. Been with it ever since.
one time i used to watch dbz there was vegeta he pwnzzzd allll so i was like im him! then i decided that i was "elite" but aim wont let u start ur name with a number so i changed it to a l thus l337vegeta
I chose my name cause the symbol and its meaning I think is very cool. Then I shortened it, cause at the after school Computer Gaming Club a friend of mine suggested that it was too long to say outloud, so BioHaz has stuck with me since 1997. Since then ppl have shortened it even further and just call me "Bio". It was also kinda funny cause in the club, we knew eachother's callsigns before we knew real names, so other members called me BioHaz around school, and I call a couple other people by thier nicks too. I called this one dude DarkHawk for at least a year before I finally learned his real name.
And in the BeforeTime, before I had net access, when I would use a direct serial connection to play my games with friends (ROTT, Wing Commader: Armada, and Syndicate Wars, those were the days) I used to use CyberFox, cause I thought it sounded kool, but BioHaz was the one that really stuck. And when I feel like using some other nom de net for whatever reason, it is either Baron Von Bonerhugenstein, A Sandwich, sometimes even A Midievil Sandwich for Dungeon Seige games. Lately the other its been A Cute Fluffy Bunny in NS cause its funny to see A Cute Fluffy Bunny (Big nasty skulk teeth) Some Poor Marine. HAHA!

It was a word I made up when I was in the fourth grade (along with Doodlekrin, Blargadoo, Flum, etc). Often paired with "noodles" as in: Windels of Noodles!
Anyway, I've been using this name since I was in 4th grade. I didn't know until a little while ago that "Windel" actually means "daiper" in German. Whoops.

Alexeï Grigorievitch Stakhanov , miner in USSR. Was rumored to have extracted 14 times the average ammount of coal in mines (he was assisted by a whole team in fact) Symbol of the communist emulation , encouraging workers in their race to mass production. (some of them were forced to imitate him the harsh way...)
If it's usefull and not impossible , do it. If it's not hard , try harder. (this is in no way based on my real life performance... )
It was actually my friend who came up with my nick. I was tired with my old one, so I said for myself that I needed a new nick, when he suddenly said "Supiko!". I asked him where in the world he got that from, but he didn't have an idea. WTH, i thought, I'll use it. So I changed the spelling a bit, and voila.
In norwegian Eplekongen translates "The Apleking". Eple = Aple, kongen = the king. The last letter "n" ing "kongen" is what makes the "the" ing "The king". If I were to use an English version of my name it would be Apleking, not "The Apleking," sounds too presumtious.
I am not on any ego-trip with this name, I just played around with different words one day when suddenly "Eplekongen" was uttered. I found it suitable and used it. I have now been using the name since I was, I think 11 - 13 years old. I never changed it, I find myself wierd.

Can't remember what game I started using this, probably at a friends LAN. Was thinking of the cool guy from the expansion pack of Starcraft ( a Protoss), and I knew it began with A. This was the name my head popped up with. Shame I thought of the wrong Protoss It should of been the Praetor Artanis instead the this one, the Judicator Aldaris, but I'd been using it far too long by the time I found out.
I was playing a game of Rugby a couple of years ago andI managed to get hold of the ball after the opposing team dropped it, I picked it up shrugged off a tackle and ran all the way to the try line with the opposing team's winger right behind me. After that I got the nickname velocity man cos my teamates had never a forward weighing in at 18 stone leave a winger for dust .
