my name comes from quakeworld team fortress. back in the day, the medic had an axe that could heal team mates, called the medaxe, and another axe that could infect the enemy, called the bioweapon. I played medic alot, and liked the name, so thats where mine comes from. Kind of ironic now because of the war, and how i am against it. But meh, its still fun after all these years. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Wow alot of people like this topic explain your name, oh by the way DOOManiac I am still playing LORD I slayed the dragon for the first time three days ago. (I'm slow okay? Gimme a break heh)
Okay Perfection's flaw would be the basis of my name. I like irony alot so wooo! Anyway it's kinda saying I'm supposed to be 'Perfection's flaw' plain out and simple. I actually met the best friend of Seth Able Robinson, it was sweet.
I've had a barrage of names since I as about eleven. acid_byrn (Hackers referance <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> ), Daimao, Picco|o (Don't blame me I was young and impressionable), HigH_Ro||a, No_D|cE.
I played Heroes 3(?) few years ago and when I first time saw Dread Knight I thought thats the coolest thang eva(atleast in Heroes). So I took Dread as my nick(first in Jagged Alliance) because it just sounded neat <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Cool. I used to play as the Dragon clan. I always had my mighty Togashi Hoshi at the ready. Half-man half-dragon and the strongest character in the game. A real badass.

I would like to take another moment to heap praise on those brave enough to hit reply on this thread It's cool becuase I look @ the "who is currently on the forums" and I see a name that has been explained in this thread, and I go oh, I know what the meaning is, it's just a cool feeling. Thanks to all, keep those names coming.
ooh, I just remembered, I have a name that I use for AIM, other stuff: NewDocDrew which means, new Doctor Drew Pinsky, becuase I might want to go into medical field, and Dr. Drew is the kind of doctor I would like to be. can anyone name his nationally (in the US) syndicated radio show?
I didn't feel like adding to the topic that was exactly the same as this one, so I decided to resurrect this:
Evolution of names, in chronological order:
<b>For chatting purposes:</b>
1. U.H.9. - Stood for "Ultra Hacker 9000". Hey, I was twelve at the time. You didn't need drugs back then to go crazy, (and I find that I still don't need drugs, as evidenced by <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=1&t=31121&hl=crazed' target='_blank'>this</a> post
2. Bowendarrow - My middle name is Owen, and trying to think of a weapon, I thought of the Bow and Arrow; thus arrived my first e-mail address. Yes, it is a stupid name as well.
3. Confuzor?/Dessidious? a) Confuzor - Was derived from my personal nature. Not content with just calling myself "Confuser", I tried think of a way to spell it more creatively. At the time, I was a fan of Beasties, (or Beast Wars, as it is better known) Transformers. And of course, there was a special machine type called the Fuzors. Thus, Confuser - fuser + fuzor = Confuzor; kapeesh? I looked up this name on ICQ to ensure originality, and sure enough, not one account used this name. Thus, I adopted it. b) Dessidious - I think it's my favourite name thus far, but I try not to overuse it, so the reputation behind the name is not tainted. With most deathmatch shooters, you don't ever completely die, you spawn back in in a matter of seconds. Thus, what represents something that never dies? In nature, we have deciduous trees. Now, thinking of something sinister, I guess my wandered a bit to Star Wars; Darth Sidious. Thus combining the two, I initially obtained Descidious, but changed it to Dessidious.
<b>For Gaming:</b>
1. Easy Target - I initially sucked at Quake; using this name brought me much luck)
2. Easy Target #12 - In one deathmatch game, the top 3 players were all named Easy Target; I added the number to become more distinct from then on
3. Gibomatic/Easy Target - In my time spend in Quake Team Fortress/Mega Team Fortress, I got cocky and decided to opt for a slightly more agressive name, "Gibomatic", but my skill wasn't the same. In my shame, I eventually reverted back to the name that gave me power.
4. Anti-Charisma - Continuing my nature of humility, I brought this name in playing Warcraft III; I haven't touched the game since Natural Selection, so the account's been gone for quite a while...
5. Cemented Duck - Current name: "What can be more solid than a duck which sits? Why, one that is cemented, of course!"
my name is simple. i like hello kitty..and hello kitty things. i work there, i spend my pay check there.. i know a lot of things about sanrio.. if you have any questions, you can ask me. (except for discount, you'd have to give me the money first <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->) shoot, i should work at the corperate head quarters. i'm crazy, i have way too much hello kitty stuff. i should be ashamed...but i'm not.
[glares]
ah...hellokitty isn't my sn though. i'm more better known in the tekken world as junknown. jun and unknown's name combined. i took the name after this artist's conception of jun and unknown being the same person. if you have tekken tag you'll know they're very similar in physique. i was the nation's second best female player at one point...i still have an article about us in a PSM mag. then...tekken 4 came out and the competition dropped because no one like the new game play style, plus there were fewer playable characters. i kind of quit tekken too... no jun kazama = [thumbs down] i still go to major tournaments because i've made a lot of friends in the united states because of that game. i miss em a lot and like to see them whenever i can.
It's a code name for operatives working under the new Patriot act. It stands for Disinformation Reinforcement and Dissipation. I monitor large online organizations for any strange activities and collect background information on their finances. If there are discrepancies in the organizations's activities that are found to be in conflict with anti-terror legislation they are red flagged and reported to the local FBI task force. I am also involved in disrupting any rumors that may lead to mass public panic such as plots against the country and when and how they will take place. If there is need I may also track an individual's routine Internet behavior to search for any links to what may be considered terror groups, and if such a link is found the individual is red flagged and local FBI authorities are informed and a warrant is issued. Wait I don't think I shouldn't be telling you any of this. Well no worries you will all think it's a joke and dismiss it off hand.

All I remember was you could choose to be a thief.... something... something.. then if you wanted you could kiss this girl, but if you didn't have enough exp then she'd slap you or something, but if you succeeded you got a bunch of luck?!
Anyhow, Pjofski goes way back the the Red Alert 1 days. It was late night, I was just starting a Skirmish game for fun. It was really quick, I was pretty good at that battling those computers (mindless fiends!) and I usually won. Back then, my name was Destruction. I was too lazy to type it out, so I just... punched in a bunch of letters, y'know? Didn't know it would turn out to be Pdjofsdke. So, anyway, my brother walks in and he goes, "Your name is Pjofski (Puh-JOFF-skee)?! Nice name, moron!" I said, "Hmm." and I edited it around a little. I wish I didn't. I should've left it as Pjofske. Now people are constantly asking if I'm Polish--but I'm not. Not even close, I'm Vietnamese =-O.
There's also another name I had, I don't use it anymore, but it's Drakulisk. It originated from Dragolisk, which was a mixture of 2 StarCraft warriors = the dragoon and the muta/hydra/ultralisk. My name was usually StarCraft mixtures, Hydraling and etc. but someone stole Dragulisk and said something about mixing 2 races... Anyway, I took it. Not like he was using it, his name was HotDog or something like that. Dragulisk formed because I rather didn't like the 'O' (drag-OH-lisk), but rather (DRAG-yoo-lisk). Drakulisk is just to spice it up, to throw in a Drake, such as in Diablo. I should use Drakulisk again (DRAY-kyoo-lisk), it's a nice name, and people don't pester me about being Polish.
(I have nothing against the Polish. I would just rather be Russian or German, something more commonly known =) )
P.S. I'm not a FOB either. Or a communist. Or whatever your minds are conjuring up when I say Vietnamese =P
i watched battle britain then thought about kharaa having airborne divisions of lerks added the -= =- in as they look neat and when i tryed it out in game everyone loved the name when i went lerk i and got a score of 18-0 before me first death <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> *remeber UMBRA is your friend*

few guys were maknig a joke about something and the name roachems came up and just stuck.
It also means "bringer" in Tolkein's Black Speech, but I found that out much later.
