Good news ppl! Animations are done! Although there is a weird error i can't seem to fix.
Ya know how i said that when you fire, your counter goes to "--" ? Well even when i stop firing, it stays that way... which is pretty weird cuz the fire animation is the ONLY one i set this way, and it doesn't repeat.... it's like.. it's stuck at the last frame of the animation until the "idle" animation kicks in.
I think this is a coding issue, not an animation one. Oh well, it doesn't detract from the niceness of the gun ingame... which btw, is in, but i still need to tweak it a little... like im not happy about the origins.. oh well.. shouldn't take long!

It's now fixed... and all done!
Phew! After 3 months.. many beers, sleepness nights, beers, afternoons of arsh labour and even more beers... it's f'king done!

Here's an ingame shot of the reload in progress. You don't see it very well, but you actually hit the mag release button before the mag drops. I could of made the anim so you see it more clearly.. but i'm done.. finito, the end, "c'est fini colis"! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Now all that's done is to make the P_ and W_ and a nice sprites, wrap it all up in a .zip for away it goes.

Great job Panther, I haven't completed a skin for anything in so long, and now that I've started anew and did my favorite gun of all time, seeing the reload animation and the ingame shot makes me very anxious. I can't wait to use it, it looks like a real sweet project so far. You probably have a sound to go with it, but if not, I have one I "mixed" that I can send to you. I use it for the AvP2 pulse.
1). His netgraph is to the left of the screen, the real netgraph is to the right, so you know he h4xed it with photoshop. 2). All of the netgraph has residue in and around the letters, the rest of the screen is clear. 3). The 1 is bigger and is a different font than the 60, if you would take the time to look.

Souris : Those are modeled in, not using the transparency trick. Those require the new .dlls that come with the DoD 1.0 installer and i know some don't have it. Besides, i haven't deleted the backfaces on the right side of the gun, so the polycount is sure to drop. Right now, it's a tad high at 1990 polys.
Damn NS hands add a lot..
