I am very near Spawn, I know this is OLD.
Hes Strong, but hes also very busy with a different war that hes losing.

He has alot of power, be careful.
I don't think he'll do anything to you because hes spread so much.
Spawn can't hurt me or my HUGE ALLIANCE in my sector, hes one of the few who aren't members of the Alliance!

10 systems in my sector (all Hugely strong players) are members of the alliance.

If it had not been formed, we would have been all at war.
I think alot of them joined because Orsos, beowulf and ME are some of the strongest players in the sector!

What am I susposed to do with the spend all points option?

It allows you to spend all you PP on whatever you pick.
It spreads it out over all your planets!

Some of you are much stronger than I and I still have a fleet that would smoke most of you in a heart beat.

In TOTAL
I now have
11 Planets
9 have SB level 10 and Pop 12
2 others under SIEGE

60 BS = 2160 attack points
40 C = 320 attack points
80 D = 160 attack points
--------------
180 = 2640 attack points total!

My active fleet is much smaller than that.
My active fleet has enough AP to SMOKE a level 10 SB and whatever is behind it. Thats All I need!

I also have 22 Transports at 60 PP a pop = 1320 pp
Because BS only cost me 500 pp now
this was SOOOOOO CHEAP.

Don't waste you PP on Destroyers!
Only buy BS's
If you have the PP spend it on BS's
1 BS has as much attack points as 18 D
it may be cheaper to spend the PP the D, but they are weak and not very good for Defense.

What puts more fear in ppl.
Seeing 200 Destroyers comming to there system of the equal amount of power in 12 BS's
I would say the BS's because everyone knows a D has only 2 attack points.

Hell yeah, I converted my PP to A dollars and then back again so, then it allowed me to spend the points on my new planet <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

quatro, do you have any tricks for getting culture levels fast, when theyre high?

im at 21 now, getting around 105 culture an hour, with most of my planets ranging from 8-11 culture levels [11 planets, two or three at around 6-9 but the rest at a solid 11]. its just not coming in that quickly, and without culture levels i cant get planets to get more culture levels... etc. you know the cycle <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

i.e im getting 100 per hour, with basalt monolith 1, im getting 110 per hour?

can i get two? i.e two basalt monolith 1's, so im getting 120 per hour?

or like, say i got a basalt monolith 1, and then i could afford a basalt monolith 2, could i just leave basalt monolith 1 on and use the 2 as well, so im getting 130 an hour total?

Yes it is per hour.

Sadly, only 1 artifact at a time, so you can't have more than a 30% boost.

So with a Basalt Monolith 2, you'd see 100 + 20%, and you'd gain 120 culture points per hour.

It seems idiots come in two's. Some fool just sent 10 destroyers to one of my planets with 4 orbiting Battleships, and on top of that, another one send six destroyers to one of my planets with 28 destroyers in orbit. I looked into both of them and they're both barely level 1. This should fun.

Um, no tricks really except I place a really high emphasis on culture,

This means, as has already been discussed. getting Basalt Monoliths. I currently have a number 2 and am getting 20% per hour on my current 150 culture/hour.

21 culture = 11 planets max - I was getting around 128 culture + 10% for this. So you probably do need to boost them a little more. I did have a standard of all planets being levels

Farm : Robo : Cybernet : Lab -> 11 : 11 : 11 : 9

However I am slipping behind with the rest of the AW community so I am currently beefing all planets to now this

12 : 13 : 12 : 9 (My sciences doesn't really need to be vamped.)

I recently have been using charcoal diamond 1 to increase production, and put basalt monolith 2 on the back burner but with the recent increase to culture level 23 I have reinstated the BM2 becuase this will mean colonising a planet a day earlier - it is still 4 days away tho <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>

Basically you want to pump the culture, place as much emphasis on getting cybernets and things as you do on PP. I am trying to catch Marine01 seeing he started before me. I might be able to with BM2, he is still using Crystal Rod 1, or was. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

I have 12 planets and all in Alpha Mira (-31, -44) I have Alpha Adhil (nearby to the top left) all under siege. (I love when players spend all PP to me <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> ) I am looking to takeover a colonised planet with upgrades already on it. So I can still spend all points to this system, with 31st best planet in AW galaxy being here, I need to keep local. In the meantime I plan to build my fleet because it is still a fledging taskforce. I have $18,000 in artifacts, $1000 in AD and 7000PP waiting to be spent. With the recent advancement of level 20 economy those ships should be coming thick and fast once I have implemented the upgrades of my civilizations infrastructure. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'>

So, eediot, boost your Cybernets big time, I suggest you make peace and upgrade for a while, you will be better for it. However if you are sieging enough planets you will probably get money from here.

Well My other account just got smoked!
Some jerk from another system just kicked my ****!
I was going to try to get 6 other planets all at once, but he beat me too it and killed all my colony ships!
I was able to get 2 other planets, but thats not the six I was hoping for!
He just sent 2 cursiers to my home planet... what a dumb ****.
I just raised the SB to level 6
Hes going to get smoked!
I wanted to have a fresh start where I didn't have to share a system, but looks like thats not going to happen now!
Man why can't I get to play this game once where things go MY WAY!

My other system (first game) is going GREAT now, 9 players all around me are members of the Alliance and things are working nicely.
Going for an attack on a border system with two of them today!
Should be a cake walk!
