mmm..i wish that sieges would be able to shoot onos..cuz when an onos comes into a marine base it seems unstoppable as it stomps all the marines and knocks down the defenses. quack
Hmmm maybe the server I play on hasn't got elite players, but I have never seen or done a HA infinite stomp, normally when marines go HA (on the server I play) not all get HA/HMG/Welder ...norm is about 4 x HA/HMG/Welder + 1 x HA/GL/Pistol ( <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> defence) + if have a lot of res, the rest of the team get JP/HMG(or Shottie) or if res is tight LA/LMG/Pistol and the LA = <!--emo&::onos::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tiny.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tiny.gif'><!--endemo--> bait to save the HA from devour.
Ok it is a pub server but none the less we never all go HA....need fast feet to tease and lure onos or JP to scout and flank the onos.
My opinion is that Stomp is usefull to catch the unwary (or the fools <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ) but not a super skill if marines are prepared to counter a known danger.
