anyway to some up. Sentries and mines are usually put down to stop your general skulk / fade rush early in the game while your off collecting res points etc. Rushes are fairly common in matches, people are always careful of a 5 minute 5 fade rush
also, you CAN win a game without upgrades. why cant you aim you? need level 3 weapons so that 1 in 50 of your bullets hit?
and an elec tf is common, it saves your ip from 1-2 skulks taking it out.
should set up 2 games between an american clan. 1st match on an american server, 2nd match on an australian server.

anyway enough of all the **** talk etc, lets just get these matchs orgainsed? its weird, as soon as a clan said yes we would play just about all u yanks and shutup and not asked. dont be afraid its only a friendly match hope in #everlast on etg / gsnet and ask me =] i worked it out with dn that the best time to have a match is 7-10pm USA / 1-2pm AUS. And with a few ppl still at school, weekends would be the best.
I watched that little Hybrid demo Kal, it was interesting to note that some (if not all) of hybrid use a bhop script and/or pistol script involving _special.
I could care less about the pistol script, but come on guys, the _special bhop script is just lame...
And if you are wondering how I could tell by one demo, it's easy:
Look for bhopping gorges on the alien round, if they are using bhop scripts then the gorges legs will apear to be running in midair; chances are if one person uses this script then others do as well.
And on marines, while they are waiting for the round to start, watch them shoot off their pistol and LMG clips... notice how the gun is empty it appears to be jerked around a lot? That's the pistol script making you fire super fast.
I saw that on your alien round you got a bit creamed at the start hybrid, but you soon made up for it with some charging bhop attacks, which was very nice and you managed to keep [XP] from expanding the entire game. Classic alien domination finished up with some fade power.
On hybrids marine round, they did a nice job overall, but very slow on the upgrades, I wonder how well they would have fared against skulks who could bhop or use teamwork better or had played against fades. Fades vs. shotgunners with lv. 0 armor = dead shotgunners in most cases. I see armor 1 as the staple upgrade of every marine force. You get so much bang for a mere 20 res I am simply clueless as to why someone would avoid this kickass upgrade.
Also, I noticed that when hybrid took down pipeline, they put all of their movement chambers at pipeline... why the hell wouldn't you spread them over your 3 hives? You might have been able to save pipeline had you put one movement chamber at cargo. Also, if you had to place your chambers anywhere, why not put them at cargo, considering you had nearly 40-60 res sunk on offence chambers at cargo? Some really simple and foolish mistakes by [XP] I say cost them their alien game.
Other than that, I would hope we could see some austrialia vs. American/EU clans soon...

I've seen purple avenger use his pistol script (an unnamed member of their clan even gave me a copy of this script) and boy was he firing fast. I'll load up the script myself and show it to you if you want forlorn. IMO the hybrid guys don't use a _special pistol script, some might be using mousewheel tho (not something I'm a fan of, but it's acceptable).
As for the bhop... I use a +3jump alias and I get accused of _special a lot.

haha sif that beats what i did last night on some "hamsters server" probably a noob server, anyway, none of them had any skill (i assume that's the american standards btw, )
in the back of dbl res on caged, where you went through the door. there was 1skulk, 2 lerks, 1 gorge, then another skulks not too far away. i run in get the skulk with my lmg, the rest of the lmg clip i put into the gorge, then finished the gorge off with my pistol, reloaded my lmg, got the lerk who was flying awaym poor ****, the other lerk decided to sit there i finished my lmg clip into him then i knifed him, to finish him off. So then i got cleaned up by a skulk, probably because my pistol wasn't reloaded and my lmg was empty. all with 350 ping. got noobs?
After playing clans from all over the world, **** and good, it's nice to know your the only one that can say oo they have a script. we normaly tech faster, but when you havn't played with each other as a team since 1.04 just about on the spot tactics aint all ways crash shot. Point of the demo was just to show that not all clans use the same tactics that you like to lable us by now.

btw. When you alias something to _special (and some other crap, no idea) you can create a looping script, thus you could just hold down spacebar and keep jumping forever. Same goes w/ pistol.

I've never heard any one in AU or NZ mention that speacial command, or that you can even pistol script in 2.x. Heard about pistol scripting in 2.x once a few weeks ago but from this player you couldn't expect any better.
