well, after being confused by its interface and ignoring it for a while, i fired up the 30day trail of Photoshop CS i got (with 8 days left), and made this

I like both, the deus ex one was cool but... wasn't pretty, nice idea though. New one is better.

scan lines can be used when the image sorta moves and the scan lines go away when it returns to a still image.
a sorta spooky looking image would do. I suppose the ring pictures are sorta cliche so something different would be good.
